Firehouse Subs Johnstown — Restaurant in Richland Township

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect, being a first time customer, but they exceeded my expectations! The staff was genuinely nice, easy to talk to, and so thoughtful! My boyfriend and I both got a combo with a sub, soup, and a pop. One of our bags came up so I asked if it was the whole order, they explained the soup would take longer since it wasn't ready, which was fine, so I sat back down and waited. Not even a minute later, they come over with some coupons, apologizing about the long wait on the soup. Keep in mind this is in June, so soup probably isn't a commonly ordered item. The food is so delicious with nice portions, definitely worth the price! On top of all of that, they donate a portion of the profit to the local firehouses, I can't think of a single reason not to visit them! I'd give them a 10*...

Paid over $35 for the food we ordered here today and it was all TERRIBLE! I couldn't find any cheese at all on my smokehouse brisket sub, the BBQ sauce was non-existent, and we had ordered 3 bowls of potato soup and every single one of them was all broth with only about 2 teaspoons of potatoes at the very bottom. This is unacceptable to spend this kind of money for this poor quality of food. I could have gotten a sub from Subway for 1/3 of the cost and it would have at least had the cheese on it. I've also never experienced soup this bad in all my life. A cheap can of Campbell's would have been more filling. Utterly pathetic! I will not be coming back to this place anytime soon and will be telling all my friends and family...

I have eaten there 3 times. Each time something has either been left out of my order or something that I have asked not to have was there. If I order a sandwich with no mayo, there will be mayo. If I order a sandwich with extra cheese, there will be almost no cheese. Recently I had a sandwich delivered. I ordered a large meatball sub with extra cheese on white bread and a bag of chips. I was given a medium sub on wheat bread, with no cheese, a pickle which I had specified I did not want, and my chips were nowhere to be found. I'm sure other Firehouse locations are fine, but I would avoid the Johnstown location like the plague. The service is poor, the staff is unfriendly, and as mentioned, they regularly send out...
