This was my first time visiting Wong Gonzalez and I have nothing but good things to say. I'll start by saying they don't have an online reservation option but you can give them a call and they will get you straight. I called for a day of reservation, I was told it was pretty booked around the time I wanted but feel free to come in for a seat. I arrived a little after 5:15 to put myself on the list and was told the wait was 30-45mins. I was sat by 5:50 pm ( actually alerted that my table was ready at 5:44pm). I started off with the house Margarita, and it was definitely on the strong side and it taste pretty good. I will say I typically like frozen/sweet margs so if that's your preference this wasn't that sweet. I then had the American Pie - think desert!. It wasn't fruity but more desert and not over the top sweet. I want to note my waitress was great with the recommendations so shout out to them ! The menu seemed to have a good mix of vegetarian options and a lot to choose from in general. I decided to order appetizers this go around because there was a lot to choose from imo. To eat, I got the fatty fajita Bao ( bbq pork) and it was a 10/10 and I definitely will be back just for that ! I followed that up with the fiesta bites and those were pretty good I just wish they had a different dipping sauce as the dipping sauce was too vinegar-y for my likes. But again my waitress came through with the sauce recs and I got the chipotle ranch. I also had the fried rice and it was good as well! The food took maybe 15 minutes to come out and it was the perfect temperature. The music was actually really good, and at a volume where you could enjoy the music and conversation ! For rush hour my waitress was very attentive and timely. If I had to list improvements - 1. I did not like the single chairs. They were a little uncomfortable/small and I definitely felt like I was sliding. 2. I wish they had more sauce options for their friend rice - I'm definitely. A duck/sweet and sour sauce type of person when it comes to my fried rice. 3. They seem pretty popular so If they could invest in an online waitlist/ reservation system ( like if you've ever been to first watch ) I think that would be great ! For my 2 drinks, fatty fajita bao, fiesta bites, and fried rice my total came to $42 and some change. Not bad considering I had two cocktails. Overall 10/10 experience and I will most certainly be back !

I came here for the first time for lunch on a Friday afternoon (1pm) with one of my friends. The decor of the restaurant and bar was gorgeous and just about every seat in the restaurant was packed. When we walked in the hostess stand was empty and it took about 3 minutes before the hostess approached us for seating arrangements. However, from there are experience was great. We were seated at a booth that was cleaned and cleared promptly. My friend had been here before and had her order all set. Our waiter was pleasant and answered all of my questions. I had only glanced at the menu before arriving and was a bit indecisive but was more than pleased with my choices. I ordered all appetizers. I had the pork gyoza (not pictured), chorizo nachos, and the bbq pork bao buns. At first I was disappointed the gyoza weren't fried but the little char and the accompanying sauce more than made up for it and I even ordered more to go. The flavors on everything were perfect and meshed well. I even tried a bite of my friend's fried chicken burrito and was surprised at how simple yet amazing it tasted. She also got tomatillo sauce on the side and it amped it up tremendously. I consider myself a foodie and really enjoyed everything I ate. And the prices were even better, if they ever had an appetizer sampler I'd be all for it! I will definitely be returning.

We started the evening by looking up Wong Gonzalez's website to see if they took reservations which it says they did. We called around 6pm Saturday night to make a reservation at 7pm for 6 people. They wouldn't take it because they said it wasn't busy. When we showed up, it was busy. This was a little annoying but two people were late so we went to the upstairs bar to grab a drink. Bartender was really cool and friendly. Drinks were good. We got our seat about 30 minutes later and ordered some apps which came out really fast. We had the gauc and the fiesta bites. Both of those were awesome. Dinner also came out quickly as well which was good to see. I had ordered the chorizo fried rice. Sounds good right? Well it is EXECEPT for the fact that you don't really ever see any chorizo. This was my second time ordering it because I remembered it was good but forgot you don't really get chorizo in it. Totally my fault. Everyone else's meal was awesome. The ambiance of the whole restaurant is pretty good. You get a very upscale feel but the prices are pretty reasonable. Definitely would recommend.

The restaurant offers a unique blend of Asian and Latin American cuisine, and the flavors were truly exceptional. One standout dish for me was the mango rice. The dish was beautifully presented, with a colorful mix of fresh mango and sticky rice. The combination of sweet and savory flavors was delightful, and I appreciated the generous portion size. I also enjoyed a refreshing Mexican coke with my meal. The glass bottle and real cane sugar added a special touch to the dining experience, and the taste was much richer and more satisfying than the typical soda. Beyond the food, the service at Wong Gonzalez was friendly and attentive. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations. The atmosphere was also stylish and comfortable, with colorful decor and a lively ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend Wong Gonzalez for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. And, if you're a fan of sweet and refreshing flavors, be sure to try the mango rice and pair it with a Mexican coke. You won't be disappointed!

Got here at 7pm on a Tuesday, and somehow this place was busier than all the other restaurants nearby. Good sign that we chose the right place to eat. Got our table at 7:30 and our waiter was attentive and helped us in ordering our Mexican/asian fusion dishes. We ordered and kept getting excited as food came towards us...and quickly past us to other tables. After 25 min we finally had to ask the waiter where our food was. He went back to check and 5 min later brought it all at once. 30 min since ordering. We where initially a little irritated (and a bit hangry) but the waiter apologized for the wait and a few minutes later the manager came by to apologise in person. Normally I'd be mad, but the fact this restaurant has a great staff (Waiter was working furiously) and the manager took the time during dinner rush to apologise impressed me. The food was good and I've honestly never had Mexican Ramen in my life. The tacos were small and overpriced, but still tasty. My coworker mentioned he should have ordered a second serving of the tacos lol

3/5. Overall an average experience here. I'm always a little skeptical when trying Asian fusion, and unfortunately I didn't really enjoy myself here when it came to the food. The Food: I went with the Beef Bulgogi Burrito and my overall consensus on the flavor and taste was underwhelming. The burrito I had didn't have that much flavor when it came down to the marinade and the rice was a little dry for my liking. It didn't taste like it had any Korean influence on it whatsoever. However, the meat was nicely cooked and the portion was nice. The Service: The staff were incredibly friendly here! Our waitress was very attentive and was able to get our groups order out in a timely manner. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean as well. Overall, a solid 3/5 for the food and 5/5 for the service. Unfortunately, I don't see myself coming back here. But I would recommend giving this place a try nevertheless, there are some positive reviews I've seen!
