Thai Chef 2 — Restaurant in Riverton

Id give it more stars but honestly pretty mediocre. We walked in to the establishment hoping for a great experience but honestly its too small for the amount of people in there. Theres only 1 server and the kitchen was hopefully understaffed. I say hopefully because it took almost 2 and a half hours to get our 2 meals. There was 2 tables ahead of us and we walked in a little before 7pm and were there until almost 9:30 when it closes at 9pm. Take orders were filled before our order was even cooking most likely. We were starving so we had order an order of crab Rangoon and then almost 2 hours later had to order another order of rangoons because they were the quickest thing. We were charged for both appetizers which is surprising since we were there for almost 3 hours. We got the teriyaki chicken and sesame chicken. The chicken was a weird color and both plates had teriyaki sauce for very different plates. Great atmosphere but honestly not a great experience. We might try again for take out but we couldnt find a menu anywhere so we had to go dine in. I would like to say that surprisingly we didn't end up sick but I probably wont ever dine in again. And seriously they need to fix the first stair on the staircase into the place. Almost fell...

I took my grandparents and brother to this place super excited to try it. Sadly I was disappointed with the workers. They were yelling back and forth to each other and it was kind of embarrassing. We got our food quite some time apart witch wasn't good at all. I work as a hostess/Waitress and I've always been taught take the food and drinks out at the same time unless you cant carry that many plates. my grandpa and brother got theirs first which it was orange chicken and then 30 minutes later I got mine which was beef broccoli and by the time i got mine the boys were done 10 minutes later my grandmas teriyaki chicken comes out which was quiet irritating but understandable because there is only one chef.. but it should be timed better.. don't cook one thing at a time if one idem takes longer start that first and cook the rest according to how long it'll take that way the food is fresh and out on time.. The food there was amazing, however, and will definitely order here again but ill stick...

I ordered a pickup for takeout at 7:15ish and was told that it would probably be ready in 35ish minutes. I showed up at 7:45-7:50 to pick up my order and was told it would take 10ish more minutes. It took 30. What’s the point of having an estimation if you’re not even going to be anywhere close to it? Staff were also not friendly. Also they really really need to update their menu prices on their website, the photos on the website are from 4 years ago and I paid $20 more than what I estimated from their prices. As for the food, they have relatively good portion sizes depending on what you order. Some have better portions than other. And the food is kinda dry and pretty average. Definitely not the best Thai food I’ve ever had, nor the best restaurant. I would want to rate this high as it seems like a local restaurant but it really wasn’t that good, expensive, and had horrible service. It was my first, and probably last time...
