We were very much looking forward to our elderflower Vodka and Blueberry Bourbon cocktails at Le Bistro Provisions but after over 30 minutes of no service we said enough was enough and left. I can’t decide which is worse, baking outside in the sun after trying to be seated next to another couple less than 2 feet away during a pandemic, and then being left to bake out in the sun with no water OR letting other staff inside know you are moving inside because you received no service, and promptly giving your drink order after sitting down, and STILL receiving no water or drinks in an empty dining room for another 15-20 minutes. Needless to say, we are very glad we walked across the street to Salt where we received cocktails and drinks in under 5 minutes of sitting down in a completely packed restaurant. I get that it’s young kids running a bar, but I still expect a decent level of service and attentiveness as a paying customer who chose to dine in that particular establishment over many others on the street. Read moreRecently moved to Roswell and just tried Le Bistro twice in the past couple of weeks - it's quickly become one of our favorite places. Some points:
Styled after European bistros with a casual style inside - we say out of the upstairs porch one time and the next at a table with two couches in front of a screen where they play old movies Often have musicians - last night the guy that played was fantastic. We stopped in just for dessert but ended up hanging out for a couple of hours, having coffee/drinks and just listening to the music. Several people were doing this and you feel welcomed the entire time. Food is really good. Last night we just had desserts - one person got creme brulee and we got a coffee toffee brownie which was fantastic.
It's one of the most relaxing, fun, and unique places to hang out. It's a bit hidden - just go up the stairs between Roswell Provisions and Little...
Read moreMy husband and I came there to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a disappointment in comparison with their shop on the first floor. It is a quite pricey place but it doesn't worth the price at all. Only a few tables were occupied, and we were placed beside the restrooms what is strange to me. It was so chilly inside, and the service was super-slow. The waitress named Sarai behaved like we are non-existent and took the menu from the table without even asking for a permission. She could not define the cocktail menu from the main course and she doesn't know the names of the dishes. The desserts were too sugary and mediocre for such a supposed-to-be elegant place. As much I loved the Roswell Provisions shop, as much I despise this Le Bistro. Overall, this place is not in my list of...
