Beach Hut Deli — Restaurant in Sacramento

I ordered an XL Skinny Dipper Hot Sandwich with NO mayo and light onions on half the sandwich. My sandwich came loaded with mayo and pretty much no onions what's so ever, weird because when I told my special order requests to the cashier they were repeated back to me as if they were heard and understood correctly. Maybe the music in the establishment was too loud because when my name was called for my food I heard "Taylor, Taylor, Keeler, Keeler" finally I just so happened to look over to see if anyone was going to pick up their food and when I did the woman behind the counter made eye contact to tell me my order was ready.

After getting home my husband and I sat down to eat our quick dinner paired with some potato chips from the deli. My husband pretty much eats everything so when I went in ordering a sandwich at the deli it was to my liking. We were by far not at all impressed with our sandwich. My husband barely ate half of his half portion of the XL sandwich and he was very hungry before we sat down to eat. I was starving so I reluctantly ate most of my portion. Besides barely having and having the correct/incorrect toppings the meat in the sandwich was dry and the Au Jus was flavorless. With all these issues put together the food was just not good.

I really like Beach Hut Deli but this particular establishment is one I won't be returning to. I'll stick to the ones in my local area (N. Natomas/West Sac) from now on since I know they don't disappoint.

My husband and I went there for lunch today. We stood at the counter for 15 minutes and we're not acknowledged once by any of the four young men working. They were working however they were walking amongst themselves and 2 of the young men walked right passed us and neither one said a word. Finally one of the young men walked over towards us we thought we were going to order...then another customer walked up and asked how much longer before his order was ready and that he had been waiting for 30 minutes. The employee then walked away from us to check on the order. I believe he said he ordered a salad and sandwich. At that point my husband and I decided to walk out. I completely understand being busy however they looked at us more than once and never said we'll be right with you...hello...not a word. I was really looking forward to eating there. Another thing I thought was somewhat strange while we were waiting I was watching the employees one of them got a bucket of what looked like chicken it was obviously cold because it was all stuck together with no gloves he was breaking it up with his bare hands that he had been touching other things with and didn't wash or...

First and last time go to this place. For the price you pay, it is not worth it at all. Plain and simple, it is just not good and I do not recommend this place. For being a place that makes sandwiches. There are plenty of better options for a better price as well. I wish it was one thing that made it not good but unfortunately it is the entire sandwich itself. Ingredients were just good and little to no flavor. Good luck to you all.

I have had this not just at home but at other sandwich locations and yours is by far the worst. I know what was on the sandwich. I asked for it to be made that way. I make it at home all the time. Your ingredients are just not good. The bacon was not good at all. Thank you for the suggestion, but I will not be going back to try any other sandwiches. That was my first and last...
