All the high ratungs made me pretty excited to try this truck out, sadly, I'm giving just the one star rating because the ten or so shrimp in my coctele de camaron y pulpo were very nice, however, there's nothing else complimentary I can say about it. At a price of 18.00, I expected to be impressed, at least a little. But with just bits of terrible quality octopus (I have been in the seafood business for 25 years), along with a few shavings of avocado, there is nothing to rave about, in fact, I feel completely ripped off. Every other seafood truck I've been to offers far superior cocteles for less money that include large pieces of diced avocado and more importantly beautiful, clean chunks of pulpo. I won't be going back to try anything else after this experience, you high ratings givers...
Read moreMy husband stopped by after golf on Monday, late afternoon. He asked for the "special" & received 4 fish tacos & a cup of soup. This place is only 3 minutes away from us so when he brought them home, they were still hot, steaming, and crispy. He emphasized that freshness is key & told me he could hear them frying the fish while he waited. Boy, was it fresh! The flavors were simple - open to receiving any delicious sauce you choose for smothering. I love sauces & my dear husband knows this, so he made sure to mention to me that they had PLENTY of homemade sauces from which to choose. I'm not sure what the total price was but he said it was "under $15"
Normally I would have taken a picture of the food to share, but we devoured those tacos in minutes😁 We can't wait to go...
Read moreWhile the food and service are exceptional, the surrounding conditions are unacceptable. The area is frequently used by the homeless as a personal bathroom, which raises major health concerns. The risk of contamination is high if the food is not handled properly, and even a minor mistake could lead to a serious illness. Until the homeless issue is resolved, I cannot recommend eating here. I have witnessed people defecating, urinating, and bathing in this area. There is also uncertainty about the water source they are using, which may be the same waterline utilized by the food truck. If the E-Bike issue that occurred a few years ago has taught me anything, it's that you can still catch an illness by just being around these unsanitary conditions. Be careful and enjoy at...
