I got a shack burger with spicy cheese fries. I’ve never had shake shack before, and I was very excited to try it based on the reputation.

The burger tasted great, but fundamentally fails at the most important aspect: having a good patty. The ordering machine had the option for “well done”, which implies the default patties they serve AREN’T well done - well, it was definitely well done, and I didn’t choose the option. The patty lacked bounce and wasn’t juicy, and didn’t quite have a lot of beefy flavouring. That said, it wasn’t super dry, so it’s passable. It was very disappointing based on the reputation it has, but it seems more and more to me that American burgers are usually just not juicy. The crispy onion rings added a good dimension to the burger, and the sauce is very delicious. I only wished the patty was better. Buns were sufficient, but one side of it was not completely cut.

The fries were good, and I loved the cheese sauce. The spiciness was good, I personally would like it spicier, but I realize that most people probably already won’t enjoy this level of spiciness.

Would come back again, but a little...

Shake shack in San Francisco is not it. I have tried every location and they are all terrible. They serve cold food. The locations in Las Vegas are the best. Or they might have new food temp policies that prohibit a certain temperature of food. The food is never above 100 degrees which seems unsafe. I ordered at a time when it wasn’t busy so I thought i would get a fresh shroom burger and fries. No they have them premade in a heating tray. I hate to be the customer to ask them to remake my food. No customer should have to ask for their food to be hotter. They had the audacity to put a caution hot sticker. Shouldn’t food come hot?

No shake shack media team, I will not email you with an address or elaborate. This chain is terrible. Their email team doesnt seem to offer refunds probably because they would have to refund all their orders. No systemic change will be made if there are no consequences for this poor...

Food is what shines tastes great and fresh. Wait time is too long. Text message said my order was ready but I had to wait another 8min. In total wait time for a slow day was 18 min. Value is not there $20 for a double burger fries and small drink and a tip is still requested when the customer is placing the order on the self service counter. With an open concept where you see food being made whatever the workers are doing unfortunately reflects on the service. The workers seemed tired like they don’t want to be there and like they don’t vibe and like each other. When I worked fast food the best part was joking and laughing with each other as we grind out the orders. That good mood translated to our customer service. I hope that it was just one of those days and not a management thing sucking the life outta...
