I came here on a Saturday night. It is a tent/stand in the parking lot of Kudzu and Company and Sherwin-Williams Paint Store. There was plenty of parking at that time.
The people working there were very nice and offered suggestions for seasoning.
There are two offerings. Corn on the cobb which is called elote, and corn off of the cobb which is called esquite. The person at the stand informed me that the esquite is cooked in chicken broth which will not work for vegetarians.
There are 4 spices. Chili Lime, Gringa, Smokey, and Botox which I think are increasing in spice level. There is a squeeze bottle that I can see in some of the other pictures but I am not sure what it is.
We ordered two Elotes to go, one Botox and one chili lime. The corn is coated with mayo and cotija chesse along with the spices that you choose. The corn was fresh and perfectly cooked. Each bite was bursting with corn flavor. My wife cleaned what was left on the foil which showed how tasty it was. The amount of Botox flavor that was on the corn was not too spicy. Next time we will ask for more of the spice.
