2/12/2023: I ordered 1 Footlong Oven-Roasted Turkey and 1 Footlong Spicy Italian through the Subway application via order #76D79A9E-E1 at 7:15PM. I picked up my order at the Subway located at 1100 Hammond Drive, Suite 410A, Atlanta, GA 30328. After returning home, I opened the packed subs and see that I received 2 Footlong Spicy Italian subs (1 extra Spicy Italian sub) and did not receive the 1 Footlong Oven-Roasted Turkey. Therefore, my order was incorrect. I submitted a complaint online via the Subway website on the same night.
2/13/2023: Alvin Spargo emailed me at 10:10AM and requested a copy of my order so that he could investigate further. I very promptly emailed him a copy of my order receipt (see attached photo) at 10:12AM. At 9:26PM, Alvin Spargo emailed me confirming he understood there was an issue with my order and that my experience did not meet my expectations. He stated "Please send me an address and I will mail you a gift card for the trouble". I emailed him at 10:21PM with my address.
4/15/2023: I still have not received the gift card Alvin Spargo committed to per his 2/13/2023 email. Therefore, I sent a follow up email at 8:10PM letting him know that I did not receive the gift card and for him to please advise. I also let him know that I got extreme food poisoning after consuming my order which occurred just a few hours later the same night. I was sick for an entire week from 2/13 - 2/19, unable to function, constant vomiting and diarrhea on these days. This required me to take off of work with NO paid time off and also required that my father to take off from work as well to take care of me since I was unable to get out of bed or walk any further than a few steps at a time. This was the sickest I had ever been in my entire life. Alvin still did not respond back to my email.
5/28/2023, 5/30/2023, 6/13/2023: I sent 3 more email follow ups on these dates to Alvin Spargo letting him know that I still did not receive the gift card and for him to please advise. Alvin still did not respond back to any of my emails.
8/2/2023: I sent a 5th and FINAL email follow up to Alvin Spargo letting him know I am filing a BBB complaint due to my multiple attempts to contact him. I have provided him to opportunity to respond and resolve this issue over 6 months of time, which he continues to ignore my attempts.
Due to the poor customer service experience I received and the lack of integrity/accountability/professionalism demonstrated by Alvin, I need a refund on my order of $10.12 and the promised gift card which he confirmed in writing to provide. I need him to provide the gift card in the minimum amount of $700 for the stress and damage to compensate for the lost day of work at which time I received NO paid time off, but had to take off from work due to the food poisoning which resulted from consuming this food order...

I placed an order online for first time and did not realize that it gave me options to select bread as sauces as it gave me a summary or default description of vegetables and sauces for classic sanwiches. Realizing my mistake I asked the lady if she could change the choice of bread and sauces. She was like I will only do it how it is written on order. I said I am the customer and I made a mistake. I am not asking you to add things which are additional cost like mozarella or avocado or different meat. Just the regular things which a custimer can choose with no extra cost like diff bread, diff sauces and veggies. Both the ladies were super adamant and super insensitive. She asked me to cancel order and I saw no option to cancel order on the subway app. When I told her I see no option. She says she doesnāt know how to do it either and kept asking me to cancel. Then I searched on subway website and it asked me to call the store to ask for changes or cancellation in order. I called them right fhere and the phone kept ringing and none of the two ladies picked it for 2-3 minutes and they were least bothered. When I asked the lady making sub that m calling you and you are taking call (as clearly they did not listej to customer who is their in person āmeā and wanted to follow senseless rules). I asked them to call supervisor and they say he is not available. I stood their and insisted they call supervisor and she called and spoke to him in spanish or some language. She did not give me the phone to explain that guy the situation (I expected him to be professional enough to listen to customer issue) but anyway he cancelled order.
I have been to subway and also know how employees work their. She just tells me we donāt listen to customers. Another lady was so rude that she signalled me to move away from counter though I was not blocking it in a very disrespectful way. Also the lady who was talking to her manager on fone mentioned words like āracistā 3-4 times which she referred to me as I was Asian.
They did not know how to speak englsih either but had full attitude and unprofessional demeanor.
Subway surely doesnāt stand for this poor discrimination and lowest standards of customer service. The owner needs to train his employees better or atleast have some decency to apologize to customer for their employees...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs my custom, I ordered the Protein Bowl with rotisserie chicken (because its just awsome no matter who makes it) and Im glad they used the correct amount of protein. The guy with the dread locs that made my food was very polite and attentive, and the food I ate was pretty good CONSIDERING THE FACT that the biggest problem I usually run into with Subways is the protein amount and WILL THEY CUT MY TOMATOES AND ONIONS UP (because I force myself to add them to be more healthy on my health journey of loosing 85/100 lbs) and here's the thing... I asked politely for them to be cut and the manager told me Subway discontinued cutting vegetables, even tho they cut tomatoes in 4, and it's clearly a franchise so they technically CAN help with that if they chose. The manager came and had a really nasty attitude about me gently asking again and continued to try to have a sword fight with me in front of MY MOTHER and other CUSTOMERS, that shook their head at his customer service skills, and I let him know I'm gonna have to leave a review and he got nastier and told me to "NEVER COME HERE AGAIN" and sarcastically thanked me with his stand-offish posture and facial expression. I thanked the gentleman who made my bowl before and after I paid and happily walked out knowing I have to find another Subway to go to next time. I'm new to the area and besides the fact I felt SOOOO uncomfortable during the situation I almost considered even moving to another side of town. The reviews for this guy made me realize ITS JUST HIS ARROGANCE and nothing else. Clean place, but dirty manager or owner. FIND ANOTHER SUBWAY is what I'm trying to say. I hate to leave bad reviews of bad experiences like this but I warned him and he confirmed he could care less and made it worse. I hope he gets better, because the area is so nice he just doesn't match. I hope this helps someone who doesn't want to experience such service. God bless you all!...
