I was excited to try this place, my boyfriend used to work in Scott's Valley and said it was really great, so I checked out their website and looked at the menu and said Yeah looks Good!! So we got the right at 7pm Thursday night. Nice place, wasn't very crowded. Sat in the dining room, and server brought us water right away we ordered the Ahi tuna Tower for an Appetizer. I Love trying Ahi towers or Ahi Appetizers. This one looked good! When we asked our waiter if it was good, he said it was "the bomb". So after that whatever we asked him about was "the bomb" Menu said Wasabi Guacamole! With tobiko and ginger, aioli. Yum right? Well NO!!! Not the Bomb! Well not in a good way! After we ordered it, it literally came out 1 minute later by another waitress, with like 6 over cooked won ton chips and a 2 inch high mush of guacamole. Obviously totally premade just slapped on the plate out of fridge. I love Wasabi so i was still like ok, give it a try. My boyfriend hates Wasabi so i was alittle nervous for him to try it. Well he, Nor I had to worry about the Wasabi, or the ginger or the Aioli. Because there was absolutely NO flavor!!! I mean None! It was just mushy avocado and butchered ahi tuna. $16. Down the drain. Very disappointed. But i thought okay. My main meal will be good. I ordered A burger with gruyere cheese, mushrooms, and truffle oil, medium rare. The waiter told me the burger can be heavy on the truffle flavor and i love truffle oil and use it often, so I said well can you ask them to just go alittle litghter on the oil. Well needless to say. But of course my burger had NO truffle taste at all. And anyone who loves truffle flavor knows you only need a few drops and its plenty. Beside that my burger was less then Medium rare. It was barely cooked and I would say nearly Raw, even raw inside. Also it took OVER 30 minutes after we finished our appetizer to receive our food. My boyfriend order the Lobster, Bay Scallops, and prawn tacos. Well I knew that was a bad idea, but told him go for it. They were $20. Of course he was very disappointed. Only ate one, and took the other one home! The taco was COVERED with slaw and pico, probably so you couldn't see underneath, because these $20 taco's were filled with Baby bay scallops, maybe one cut up "prawn" and maybe a tiny piece of lobster. TINY. like the pinched out the leg meat. Anyway. I took out his taco to eat for lunch today as a leftover. And i did take all the toppings of to see what i was eating and just thought are you freaking kidding me!??! This is (now half the order) a $10 taco?!?!? We are right next to the Ocean! You can't get better Seafood than this!!! $20+ for 2!! Well I took a picture of it and want to try to post here. But I've honestly never written a review before, and I eat out All the time and I just couldn't let this one slide. So hopefully i can get the picture on here. I just want to say!!!!! C'mon people!!! STEP IT UP!!! This is not right to be charging people your prices for this kind of mediocre food! And the Quality, well lets just say there was no Quality. I expect more from a "Nice" restaurant, in Scott's Valley!!! Well luckily for them and maybe you if you are reading thjs I can't find a way to post my picture. But this place was very disappointing.

Edited:After getting a rude response from the OWNER!! I'm flabbergasted!!! If you don't want true and honest reviews then you shouldn't allow people to post reviews! I've just read other condescending, and rude replies you've left for other CUSTOMERS who paid money to your establishment, and let me tell you. YOU are the one who does not understand the restaurant business!!! You never blast a paying customer because they were unsatisfied with your underwhelming overpriced food! I work for the most Customer Service Friendly Airline! SWA. for over 16 years! And I would Never respond to a paying Customer how you have!!! And we are an AIRLINE! But Customers pay my pay checks! You need to lose the Ego, and maybe just say Sorry for the bad experience. I SHOULD have stayed home and cooked!!
