If you eat keto, gluten-free, low-carb and/or vegetarian this place is a MUST.

I love this location in the Scottsdale Quarter. They also have a cool outdoor seating area, but it is on the sidewalk so many people will walk past you (staring at your food haha). Still a beautiful location and great place to walk around the shops afterwards

Both of their locations are pretty far from where we live, but if I'm EVER in the area, this is ALWAYS a great place to stop! Everything is always delicious and as you can see by so many reviews, the Avocado Fries are AMAZING!! They are crispy on the outside and creamy avocado on the inside!

WHAT WE ORDERED: Avocado Fries, Shrimp Scampi Pizza, Churro Waffles, Spicy Chicken and Waffle Sandwich, Waffle with Bananas Foster and we'd order all of them again!

WAIT AHEAD LIST: get on the waitlist via YELP. I love yelp waitlist 'cause you can see how long the list is and WHERE you are on the list. I've used this feature at several restaurants and there's virtually no wait by the time you check-in to the restaurant.

One word of the wise for gluten-free and keto friendly people, I would double-check with your waitstaff before ordering. The keto menu is combined with their specials menu so sometimes it's not entirely clear what is/is not keto. They do have KF next to many of their items, but sometimes the menu layout can be confusing. I also ordered for pickup once (via Doordash and the lunch I ordered had KF next to it, but came with waffle fries - the opposite of keto friendly). So, I just recommend if you are dining here and need to be strict, let your server know).

As for the review of keto foods they are REALLY good. I often miss crunchy texture on keto so the avocado fries are amazing. Also, their DoorDash claims the Avocado Fries are NOT gluten-free, which confuses me since they market it as keto, so I'm not sure if they are strict keto. The texture of the churro waffles were pretty much consistent with keto bqked goods and the flavor was delicious. Don't let the photos fool you!

MY ONE QUALM: I soooo wish they were open past 2pm! Living in Tempe, I can only come here on...

We had been here before the holidays and had a wonderful meal and great service. That was not true on our next visit when we brought 8 friends.

Let me start by saying that as we were leaving we found out that it was our waitress' first day. She was not being shadowed and we did not know it was her first day.

There was problems from the start,. Before we ordered we mentioned there would be separate checks within the group of 10. Drinks took 25 minutes to arrive after we ordered. One person's order was messed up 5 times. First two times they brought out the wrong dish, thre following three the kitchen could not cook eggs over hard or were not getting that information. She finally gave up and ate around the eggs. We were there for almost 2 hours from sitting down to everyone being served. Coffee was refilled once and never were asked again.

When it was time to pay she brought one check. We reminded her that we had told her about the separate checks when we started. She stated the policy is no separate checks for parties over 6. REALLY!!! At this point I talked to the manager.

After explaining everything there was just a lot empty apologies. She reluctantly agreed to split the checks and I told her that she should be comping for the dish that was screwed up 5 times and never was right. The manager did not take over the table or come to apologize. She let the waitress who was now crying split the checks and deal with an unhappy 10 top on her first day.

We will not be back. The food is great but this level of service is...

Cold food and Poor service. We decided to come for breakfast at BKB at Desert Ridge with the whole family and it was not really what we expected. Clean place and good atmosphere. Despite the covit-19 the place was full, servers wear gloves; good. Most of us order it eggs Benedict's different ways. Food arrived, first thing we noticed, cold plates, food a bit sloppy and your fry potatoes version, honestly no the best, probably the worst I ever see it. So we started to eat and the food was COLD. When the inexperienced young server decided to touch our table, the food was even colder, which we had already start eating like that, because she take too long to touch our table. We ask her to please put these plates back in the microwave and when she returns with the food; we noticed the plates were a bit hot but not the food. We decided to stop eating, finally the server past by and she said if everything was OK, we told her the situation with our food, but she didn't do anything to correct this issue or offer another option, nor did she offer an apology, she left and return with the ticket. We were looking to see if we can get a supervisor or manager, but in the time we were there, we never saw them touch tables. Very inexperienced server and poor service. We will never return to this place. We will continue eating eggs Benedict at BREAKFAST JOYN on Bell Road, which I recommend...
