Went to eat at the restaurant it was hot in there at first and the waitress was slow but when you look at the menu and it says beans/rice $1.99 and then when you get your bill they charge you a $1.99 for the beans and $1.99 for the rice if that was the way they want to charge it they should have did it individually not the way that they did with the forward /and plus the rice wasn't even a small bowl full not even a small bowl full for a $1.99 and the beans was just thin smear across a plate not even a tablespoon full or I'll give them credit maybe two tablespoons full for $1.99 that was a ripoff I know it's not that much money but these days with the gas prices the way they are and if they're expecting tips they need to have it in the menu exactly where it's supposed to be because I got guacamole I thought I was going to be spending $5.99 on the guacamole and $1.99 on the beans and rice and then whenever they told me my bill was 10 something it really made me mad needless to say I won't go back there again because their beans were burnt and their guacamole wasn't all that great but their salsa was good their...
Read moreThis acambaro is very frustrating. They close at 9 pm, and if you call them at 8 to place an order they make excuses such as “oh we are not open” “the kitchen crew is closed early today” etc. in my experience, if a restaurant has its regular business hours, and they answer their phone, and still have 30 minutes to an hour before close, they should fulfill the order. I order frequently from here and they have done this multiple times. Why would you answer the phone just to say you aren’t open,? I feel like I’m being lied to when they say they aren’t open and it’s very frustrating because I have to alter my families dinner plans last minute which is difficult to do at 8 -9 PM. They should stop being lazy, do their jobs, make the food, and earn their company money. The people here compared to other acambaros and restaurants are unfriendly and don’t seem to value their customers. So they have lost my...
Read moreThis was our 1st time here; it was very good Hispanic food! I know its a little thing, but the chips & salsa where the best I've had in years!! I got the chili rellano (I didn't specify which, & got the chesse) & it was absolutely exceptional. At 1st I was a little incredulous about the look of the 'thin' & chunky sauce that topped it, but it was a slow cooked, flavor packed, work of art! Fantastic, complex, roasted tomato, brothy goodness. 🤤 We will definitely be back! Also, we where able to have quick service in a lunch rush when we where short on time. I enjoyed the Tamarindo Agua...
