Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Springfield Charter Township

The two times I have gone and they have actually been open, the food is very good. Absolutely no complaints about the food. However, I have gone to get myself a sub numerous times and the place was closed, way before their posted close time. I had called Tubbys today, and evidently the gas station and Tubbys share a phone. So, thinking I was calling Tubbys, the gas station attendant answered and answered my question on if “they” (thinking “they” was tubbys) were open. I drive there, and see that Tubbys, which is supposedly open until 9 on saturdays, was closed at 6:00 pm. Upon asking the gas station attendant why when you search Tubbys, he answers, he ignored my question. So, make sure you specify that it is TUBBYS you are talking to, NOT the gas station. Again, no complaints on the food. My complaint lies with the poor...

Worst Tubby's sub I've ever had. I don't understand how this place is even able to call themselves Tubby's. They must think if they use the same bread, and the same dressing, that they can continue to use the Tubby's name. Get rid of this location! You deceive the customer into believing that if they travel 60+ miles round trip, spend $50 for 3 subs, that they will indeed return home with authentic Tubby's cuisine. Wrong!! The food was inedible. This franchise disgraces the Tubby's good name. I will still eat Tubby's from a different location. I blame this negative experience on this...

Haven't had tubbys in a while and my daughter and son in law has never had tubbys so I decided to stop. The lady running the store took my order and was very kind and friendly. The lady making the subs was great! I had an order of 4 subs, she took her time and asked questions, made sure to get my order right. I waited probably 20 minutes but it was worth the wait, she even threw in an order of mozzarella sticks for the long wait. The subs were all delicious! My daughter and son in law...
