Crispy N More — Restaurant in Springfield

I get called into review places all the time, and I have to say, I actually choose to come here voluntarily, but because I was flooded with emails and request to try it out, I went. For starters, I choose to get the honey bbq chicken wings, with fries. Visually, they looked very satisfying, and when I first tried them, they tasted pretty good. Their definitely not the best wings around, but with some minor improvements, they could definitely get there. The wings were very over cooked, almost to the point where the meat was stuck to the bone, so that’s definitely something that needs to be brought up to the cooks, but other than that, they were fine. The sauce is very rich, and has sort of a Smokey taste to it. As far as the fries go, they are awful. I definitely would’ve given 4 stars, but good fries are important to have. All I can really taste is oil. It has a very dry and disturbing taste to it. I definitely am recommending that they change their fries vendor because these really do taste unbelievably bland. Other than that, the customer service is pretty good. The young lady who’s at the front is very kind and respectful, and as always customer service is important. I would love to see this restaurant grow, but they definitely have to fix...

One the disrespect when the staff well 1 staff she barely speaks english but can give attitude in english! but anyway I was very excited to try their wings sweet chili to be exact! I had ordered a 10 piece with chips. My 10 piece was not cooked it was pink. I went to go get a new batch and the restaurant was closed 6/12/23 which they hours were 11-5:45/6 but they closed at 5:10/5:15pm. So I came back 6/13/23 the following day I called and spoke with someone on the phone then 15 mins later I arrived to a lady talking to me threatening me that I will not get my refund! I tried calling the manager they turned their phone off! For me personally I will never go back because It wasn’t like I went without proof I brought the chicken back with me! yea not ok It would of been better if they had a manager to speak and clear...

After visiting a nearby college campus we were hungry and googled nearby restaurants. Crispy wings sounded just right to hit the spot. We arrived and it was very unassuming. It was late lunch and no other customers were to be seen. A little concerned if this was the best place to grab a quick bite. We decided to stay instead of searching for another place. The boss was friendly in explaining some items on the menu. Ordered crispy wings and fried plantains along with fries. The chick wings were delicious. Crispy outside and moist inside. Fries were nice and thick non greasy and the plantains were crunchy and tasted great with the condiments. Well worth a pit stop if...
