Maryflor had good reviews so, while in Springfield, we decided to give it a go. It was the middle of the afternoon and the place was nearly empty. This was good wine we had lots of attention from the servers. The ambiance is nice, albeit a bit rustic. They have a nice selection of items on their menu. There were only two of us so we couldn't try much. What we did try was good. Chips and Salsa: they serve very colorful tortilla chips. They were light and crisp. They serve a mild salsa which had a very good taste. I asked about a spicy salsa and they brought one out that looked the same as the mild. Believe me, looks can be deceiving. This one had a burn. Guacamole: The guacamole was fresh and spiced well. With avocado so expensive these days, the cost was reasonable. This was not so bad, either. Mixed Fajitas (steak and chicken): the fajitas were okay but not outstanding. There was a nice mix of peppers and onion, cilantro, steak and chicken. They forgot the tortillas and when we asked, they brought three. Three is not enough for a full serving of fajitas. Nonetheless, while I've had better, it wasn't bad. Tamale: just for fun, we added one pork tamale. They serve it doused in a mole sauce. I've never had a tamale that way. I admit, this was probably the best item we had. Since this is over three hours from our home, I don't see us returning. If we lived closer, we would definitely give it another try.

My train from Springfield was delayed, so I decided to order pick up from this spot which was conveniently 4 minutes away from the train station. I ordered a Burrito Espinaca with chicken. The chicken was a little dry but otherwise the burrito was quite perfect— the spinach added a nice, unique touch, and the rice and beans were very flavorful. The sauce topping was what really made it stand out. The spinach sauce, queso and sour cream topping was so delicious, it had me dipping everything in it and scraping the plate afterwards. The pick-up order was ready within 30 minutes and the hand-off was smooth and quick. My order also came with a well-sized bag of chips and salsa. The chips were crispy and had good flavor— a little salty though. The prices were pretty reasonable too for the portion sizes— I was quite full and satisfied after the meal. — Price (relative to peers): 4.5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Ambience: N/A Service: 5/5 (quick and seamless pickup) Overall Value: 4.5/5

You get free chips and salsa the chips seem to be commercially bought and the salsa was homemade two Bland and tomatoey so my daughter added Tapatio to it and I added the hot salsa which I had to ask for and I liked it. My daughter had the Mayflor steak burrito which we both liked it had a great steak flavor and was grilled it came with fries which were also crispy and fresh I had an al pastor marinated amazing pork taco and pork tamale which was little to no meat and dried out. My other daughter had the Texan roll she said it was really good it had a corn mango salsa. The decor was awesome and the girls liked the rooster dressed up in a sombrero. My bill was roughly $46 overall I would recommend MaryFlor Mexican restaurants.

“Watch bank statement” All stars for the Food! My kids and I absolutely love love love their food!!! A few days ago, there was a cheer competition at the BOS building so I recommended waking to this restaurant save the trip on finding a parking spot. Plus food is excellent. Didn’t even want to give one star for service. As a group of 18 people from out of town and I living here wanted to show them good food here. When leaving Check out was absolutely horrible I payed for what I bought for well thought I was…. Waitress Maria tried charging me, someone else’s cheesecake, someone else else’s queso cheese. She took the cheese off, but then took a while to give me my requested receipt. As she did she still charged me food that I did not order. She threw the money back in my face for a cheesecake I didn’t order or eat and told me go. That day what I paid for was taking out of bank. I left 0 tip on paper made it clear it was 0. 18 others had put the tips together towards the party. 2 days letter the amount was changed in my bank. Maria decided to write her own tip on my signed receipt. I went into the restaurant first Maria said there’s no managers. Told her to get someone higher up. I got the tip money back. But my gosh! After them saying that’s how they work they work for tips and she’ll never do it again, but what makes it right to steal from customers. I was so proud to show the 18 out of town people this restaurant. To make it look like a joke. Just be careful get copy’s of receipt and watch if it changes. She thought it was fine to write what she wanted and didn’t change my signed total. She just wrote her tip amount right nexts to my BIG 0 I wasn’t even worried about the money. I was more upset that she had the nerve to pull a fast one not thinking she will get caught and nothing will happen to her. Great food place now turned completely sad! Cant trust the workers.. Kids and I have to find another...
