This is my second visit. The 1st time we got there before it got busy. When you walk in you go to the counter to order. Some people sat down and waited to order. Go to the counter to order. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The menu is simple. Not a lot of items to pick from. You don't need it. You have appetizers like nachos, fries, sliders and wings. When I read just the appetizers I wanted all of them. Fries with mac & cheese, oh my. The main menu has chicken, ribs, tri-tip. sides and a kids menu. Both times I ordered the Tri-Tip sandwich. It was loaded with meat, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a bbq mayo? Not sure all I know is it was delicious. I could only eat half and took the other half home. I ate the 2nd half two days later and it was so good. I felt like Guy Fieri when he taste something amazing. I was in food heaven again. Sandwiches come with a side. I dont remember all the sides, green salad, onion rings, coleslaw, mac n cheese is what I remember. I had the coleslaw. It was very good It was creamy without the heaviness of cream. It was light. I dont know how to describe it but it was good. We also had the onion rings. Those were perfect. Nice and crunchy on the outside and perfect onion on the inside. They were awesome with the BBQ sauces on the table. My husband had the rib sandwich it also had a lot of meat. The meat was flavorful and very tender. We were there about 8:00 pm on a Saturday evening. There were quite a few people. The time before was a Sunday around 2:00 and there was a line. They have outdoor seating too. I almost forgot to mention ALL the beers they have on tap. I had a Taco Truck and it was nice and cold. They also have wine on tap. If you dont see anything you like on tap they have a ton of other choices in the cooler. I highly recommend Fat City Brew & BBQ

I was watching a YouTube video about an AMAZING BBQ joint in Austin, TX and everything inside my body was compelling me to buy a plane ticket and go try this BBQ place. Obviously that's crazy, so I decided to try to satisfy my urge for BBQ by checking out Fat City Brew & BBQ instead. This was my first visit here and the staff all welcomed me and family in as we walked through the back entrance into the dining room. I was excited to see a nice variety of BBQed meats available. I went for the Brisket and Ribs, wife got the tri-tip sandwich, and my son got a salad topped with tri-tip. Everything looked great. The brisket was tender. There were a variety of their own BBQ sauces on the table and they were all delicious. The ribs were definitely the best ribs I've had in Stockton. The plate was definitely filling and I couldn't finish it so I took leftovers home. I still want to catch a flight to Austin to try Terry Black's BBQ, but Fat City was pretty good too 👍

On the Miracle Mile in Stockton, this is a hotspot for authentic BBQ. Owned and operated by Don and his team, this guy does an outstanding job providing delectable plates that would please just about anybody. The portion sizes are very generous, so bring an appetite and a friend. Very clean restaurant and good vibes. TouchTunes jukebox allows you to play whatever music you’re feeling without many restrictions. Father’s Day special was Dino Ribs, I’m speechless…Unbelievable smoke ring and the flavor was killer. For such a large piece of meat it was tender and juicy. With specials everyday, $14 Domestic pitchers, good music and killer food, you can’t go wrong. 10/10 Highly Recommend! Edit: Please add REUBEN and CUBANO sandwiches to the menu. I can ensure you these will be popular at this location.

A lot of barbecue places claim to be the best in town and I've traveled all over the United States. Eating at barbecue places. This is hands down. One of the best if not the best. And they do not gouge you on the prices, which I can highly respect. Their barbecue is amazing so much so that i've ordered two racks of ribs three times this week. They also have a huge selection of beer if that's your thing. But what stands out most to me about this restaurant? Is the fact that they don't rely on barbecue sauce to make their food good? It's good just by itself. Barbecue sauce is icing on the cake. And the best part about their ribs is it's not skimpy ribs like you encounter, they are fat. Decadent ribs. 10/10

Found a bug in my food. He was mixed in there and was dead. I took a bite, went to reach for more and found him mixed into the bottom of my Mac. The meat was all dry and flavorless. Pictured is the brisket. Brisket is supposed to be soft and flavorful. This was dryyyyyyyy. The Mac tasted like velveeta. I read reviews before coming and thought I was going to find some bomb new spot. After 150$ for three plates of not good tasting food with a bug, I won’t be returning. They have everything with guy the good guy all over the restaurant hoping he will come out and do a episode on their joint. I would recommend management to work on improving the food before having a rep from their show come out.

I can't imagine believing the lower reviews. Either they lack the ability to taste or they're jealous this place absolutely craps on whatever they bbq at home. Though I've never been to Texas, but having spent some time in the Carolinas with good old southern cookin', this place easily compares and beats it. Highly recommend the bbq at Fat City. The Dino Ribs on Father's Day was easily the best tasting cut of meat I've ever had hands down. I've come to love the BBQ Brisket hamburger and the Pastrami is also to die for. This isn't a one off review; I've come here many times, tried a variety of menu items and have yet to leave without being thoroughly satisfied.
