I thought I had bad pizza in my life, BUT Gino’s went above and beyond NASTY. The crust was so hard it snapped when you folded it. The crust was so thin it was almost nonexistent. I can’t explain HOW NASTY this pizza was. I’m from NY and I know what pizza tastes like. It was bad enough that the pepperoni slice was NASTY, but the cheese was worse. HOW can you call yourself a pizza place, IF YOU CAN’T EVEN MAKE A CHEESE Slice taste even remotely like a slice of cheese pizza. IF ACTUALLY WANT PIZZA THAT TASTE LIKE PIZZA, EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE. IF Gino’s is giving away FREE pizza, Don’t even try it or expect it to taste like pizza. THIS IS NOT PIZZA, NO MATTER WHAT GINO’S calls it. I paid $11.00 and I believe if I ate the money, the money would have tasted more like pizza, than what Gino’s sold me. I should have just taken the $11.00 and thrown it in the garbage, OWE, that’s what I did, since I couldn’t eat the garbage Gino’s sold me. WORST PIZZA in all of the U.S. Mystic CT. should remove Gino’s ability to sell what they call pizza, and fine them for false...
Read moreVisited here for the first time with my friend. We ordered a sausage, pepperoni, and onion pizza. The bartender was friendly and service was fast, but upon receiving the pizza...let's just say it was not what I expected. The onions were RAW and 75% of the pizza was onions and sausage all condensed in one area. Generally a pizza is cut into 8 slices but ours was only cut into 2 with the rest we had to cut ourselves after not given any utensils. I would not have left a negative review but after paying we were the only 2 of 3 people in the restaurant and the I assume owner spoke with us asking how we liked the pizza. I didn't want to be rude so replied "it was good." Following that up he practically begged us to leave a good Google review since he had been receiving "a lot of negative ones" following their recent recipe change. I don't think you should ask your customers to leave a good review after telling them how negative your recent ones have been... yikes. I wish this place the best but maybe it would be for the best to revert back to...
Read morevery disappointed by the food but not by the drama. gino’s is located right next to the hampton inn where we stayed with our kids. we just rolled up and we’re hungry so we placed a take out order. my husband went to have a drink while waiting for the food. he watched the female bartender and some unruly patrons start harassing the maybe 19 year old cashier. if that’s the girl who answered the phone, she was very friendly and professional and didn’t seem to mind my inquiries as we have food allergies in the family. well the harassment got so bad that the cops were called. the food was not worth the money. we had chili, pizza, garlic bread and a hot dog. and a salad which they forgot to pack and then my husband went back into the police scene to pick it up. they did provide plates which is helpful when in a hotel. they only put 3 ketchup packets with the orders of fries and that wasn’t enough for my kids. none of the food was delicious. the salad did have very fresh lettuce. order at...
