It's our last Friday on the East Coast for a while. Decided to do some seaside exploration of *this* coast while still here. Drove to Mystic, CT and will check out the views, shops, and eateries in the morning because it's too late to visually see much now. But before passing out with fatigue from an insanely crazy busy week...stopped in here for some food. A custom request for a grilled cheese with extra cheese & ham and a small sausage & meatball grinder came up with mouthwatering items. 😍 Crunchy, cheesy, full of buttery flavor grilled cheese and a huge grinder for a "small" for reasonable prices! Be prepared for a large to be much larger than the pictures which is a great thing :) Katie was a wonderful server. We were met with friendly and vibrant energy for a Friday night and warm service along with our delicious late dinner. Thank you for a great experience! We definitely recommend checking this app out. :) #YUM #Datenight out #Ginos

If I could give less than 1 star I would! Placed a large order and at pickup was told I could not use their gift card. Claimed they have since updated their system so nothing they could do. It’s illegal to have gift cards that expire but apparently they don’t care. Manager at the time of pick up said they knew there was some outstanding gift cards. What terrible customer service. Not even a simple we will give you a discount for the hassle. Manager at the time made sure to say we were lucky he was there, oh yeah, why were we lucky. Lucky you didn’t honor your gift card and did nothing about it. Than claiming I am being a bully but they have no problem taking the money for the gift card and not honoring it. Class act. Believe all the other 1 star reviews, I am not alone in this. I will absolutely never buy food from them again. Food isn’t that great to put up with their nonsense!

A coworker and I ordered takeout for lunch. Upon picking up our order we encountered an empty restaurant ( should have been the first clue) and then a truly rude staff member. She seemed annoyed to have to leave the bar area where she was talking to another employee. I paid, she then brought us over our grinders and fries and started to walk away. I then asked if we could have a bag. She grabbed a papper bag, put it on the counter and walked away. No customer service or hospitality at all. We were hopeful that the food would make up for the poor service, but again that was a complete let down as well. Burnt inedible onion rings and fries and scrawny mushy grinders. It was actually laughable how bad our experience was at Christos. Guess we will stick to Angies and the Jealous Monk since their food or service is never a let down. Stay far away from this place.

I thought I had bad pizza in my life, BUT Gino’s went above and beyond NASTY. The crust was so hard it snapped when you folded it. The crust was so thin it was almost nonexistent. I can’t explain HOW NASTY this pizza was. I’m from NY and I know what pizza tastes like. It was bad enough that the pepperoni slice was NASTY, but the cheese was worse. HOW can you call yourself a pizza place, IF YOU CAN’T EVEN MAKE A CHEESE Slice taste even remotely like a slice of cheese pizza. IF ACTUALLY WANT PIZZA THAT TASTE LIKE PIZZA, EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE. IF Gino’s is giving away FREE pizza, Don’t even try it or expect it to taste like pizza. THIS IS NOT PIZZA, NO MATTER WHAT GINO’S calls it. I paid $11.00 and I believe if I ate the money, the money would have tasted more like pizza, than what Gino’s sold me. I should have just taken the $11.00 and thrown it in the garbage, OWE, that’s what I did, since I couldn’t eat the garbage Gino’s sold me. WORST PIZZA in all of the U.S. Mystic CT. should remove Gino’s ability to sell what they call pizza, and fine them for false...

Visited here for the first time with my friend. We ordered a sausage, pepperoni, and onion pizza. The bartender was friendly and service was fast, but upon receiving the pizza...let's just say it was not what I expected. The onions were RAW and 75% of the pizza was onions and sausage all condensed in one area. Generally a pizza is cut into 8 slices but ours was only cut into 2 with the rest we had to cut ourselves after not given any utensils. I would not have left a negative review but after paying we were the only 2 of 3 people in the restaurant and the I assume owner spoke with us asking how we liked the pizza. I didn't want to be rude so replied "it was good." Following that up he practically begged us to leave a good Google review since he had been receiving "a lot of negative ones" following their recent recipe change. I don't think you should ask your customers to leave a good review after telling them how negative your recent ones have been... yikes. I wish this place the best but maybe it would be for the best to revert back to...

very disappointed by the food but not by the drama. gino’s is located right next to the hampton inn where we stayed with our kids. we just rolled up and we’re hungry so we placed a take out order. my husband went to have a drink while waiting for the food. he watched the female bartender and some unruly patrons start harassing the maybe 19 year old cashier. if that’s the girl who answered the phone, she was very friendly and professional and didn’t seem to mind my inquiries as we have food allergies in the family. well the harassment got so bad that the cops were called. the food was not worth the money. we had chili, pizza, garlic bread and a hot dog. and a salad which they forgot to pack and then my husband went back into the police scene to pick it up. they did provide plates which is helpful when in a hotel. they only put 3 ketchup packets with the orders of fries and that wasn’t enough for my kids. none of the food was delicious. the salad did have very fresh lettuce. order at...
