I rarely if ever leave reviews, but in this case am compelled to do so. Athe there Saturday with my two daughters. Everything was excellent. A couple highlights - most of these were specials: Fish Tacos - I had these. freshly prepared with grilled, well seasoned swordfish. Other ingredients were fresh and the sauce was great. My daughter just moved from southern CA which is known for having some of the best anywhere in the US and these would easily hold up there!
Salmon salad special (not the exact name) - Fresh greens with a VERY generous amount of salmon cooked to a perfect medium as ordered (a rarity!). Dressing was ginger based, fresh and light with plenty of flavor.
Cracked pepper mac and cheese - Excellent flavor and among the best my daughter has had. Not too saucy or dry. They have a small section of their menu dedicated to mac and cheese for a good reason!
Nachos - Some the best I've had in the area. Nachos are fried in-house which makes a huge difference coupled with real cheese not that gross fake cheese sauce surprisingly used by many restaurants and baked with the other usual ingredients as toppings.
Black bean soup which came with two of our dinners - I don't normally care for black bean soup but ate every last bit of it. Key was just the right amount of spice.
We didn't have it on this visit but their pizza is excellent as well. Can't think of better in the area.

Read moreToday was the first time visiting this place. They had good menu options and the prices weren't that bad. Our waitress came and she didn't have much ch of a personality. LFirst we ordered Pineapple Upside Down drinks and they were $10 each. They came out in a martini glass. Not worth the $10. They tasted pretty bad but we drank them. We ordered the Fried Calamari and Fried Perogies. The food ce out and just as my husband was going to eat a piece of Calamari he found a hair sticking out of it. Gross!!!! So of course we weren't going to eat it. We called the waitress over and told her there was a hair in the Calamari so she picks up the plate and looked at it as if we were lying..really??? She says " Oh well no one in the kitchen has hair like that" well .guess what ! It's not ours you idiot!! It was probably her hair since it was the color of her hair. We were sick to our stomach and didn't want to eat anymore. The rude waitress took the Calamari off of our bill and my husband asked if they could take off his drink also. She looked at him like he was crazy so he said get me a manager. This old four eyes lady comes over and when he asked to have his drink comped she didn't know what to say...basically nothing. She said we comped the Calamari. It was ridiculous and when he loudly announced about the hair in the Calamari, she said you can leave now. We will never go...
Read moreWe have gone to Cherry Creek Hideaway about 5 times now and went most recently last night. They had tables nicely spaced with plastic curtains between closer tables. The food has always been great on all our previous visits. A very large menu at reasonable prices. If you enjoy a thick gormet burger, they have a nice variety and the Fire Burger is a favorite. We also had the Sesame Seared Tuna Salad. The tuna was cooked well and was delicious. The roasted red pepper tomato bisque was excellent but could have been hotter. A variety of specialty martinis were on their menu. They were delicious and mutiple were enjoyed during the wait for the meal. It was a little slow for service however these times are difficult for small restaurants right now, so we were understanding. Having been there a handful of times already, we never tried the pizza, so we took a full size pie to go. The pizza was surprising since you typically don't associate good pizza from a restaurant. I would definitely say they know how to cook the crust with some crispiness; not burned and not undercooked. The sause was fresh tasting and cheese was evenly distributed. Their pie is better than most in the area. They do takeout orders and we plan on making them a spot on our local restaurant take out rotation to support our favorite local...
