I'm giving 3 stars, even though tonight's pizza only deserves 1. Here's my reason: I had been very excited to order from the Struthers location when they opened. So, about 2 months ago, we ordered for the first time and it was AMAZING! I was instantly in love with their New York Style Pizza (I'm not originally from the Youngstown area and can't seem to find any pizza around here that's decent... It's all the same, and not impressive.) After that first pie, I vowed to only order from Bruno Bros because they were exactly what I was looking for... Thin crust that you can fold in true New York fashion, and tasty, zesty sauce! Perfect! Tonight I was craving pizza and couldn't wait to sink my teeth into the deliciousness that stole my heart. To say I'm disappointed this time would be an understatement. It doesn't seem like the same pizza at all. While the crust has the same thickness (or thin-ness), it has no flavor. The sauce is... Ok. But, it's different than the last time. There is no WOW factor, like that last (first) pizza. In fact, it's rather bland. So, the 3 stars instead of 1 are because I'm hoping (fingers crossed!) that Bruno Brothers in Struthers is just having an off night... (we're all entitled one every once in awhile) and the next time I give in to my cravings and desires, they will be...
Read moreYea im not too sure about this place. As someone who grew up in the Bronx "New York" pelham area, I can't reccomend the "New York, style pizza". It looked great, smelled amazing but the taste was just very very bland. No flavor at all on these slices. All I could taste was a hint of pepperoni and sauasage from other slice. Another thing to note is the crust is also, despite being "thin", is still too thick. The sauce was fine, wasnt full of sauce so +1 point there. It was a massive let down and it seems hard to find a good NY style pizza. For me, I managed to find far more flavor and enjoyment from Little Ceasers... The price for these two slices and a drink was 11$ which for the quality, kinda sucked. Over all, if you want New York Style pizza, don't bother coming here. I was told by my roomate also to not come here for pizza but, ya i get it now lol.... I haven't tried anything else on the menu so, might come back to try a cannoli but, that's about it really. 2 stars for the...
Read moreOut of two pizzas, the attached pictures is what we threw away. Plus what was on our plates. I don’t know if this is frozen dough but it’s definitely not made fresh. It was like eating a Di Giorno pizza. And, I ordered a New York thin crust. This was in no way, shape and/or form a New York style pizza. It was tasteless. There was hardly any cheese on what was only a cheese pizza. There was no sauce on it and it was dry. The Philly cheesesteak was so bland and tasteless. It’s like they just take the ingredients out of a can and don’t bother to even season anything. They just slap it on the pizza & ask for $30. Worst pizza place ever. And, the cannolis were ridiculous. They were stale and there was no filling. There was no chocolate drizzle, no chips, no whipped cream, no powdered sugar - nothing on them to indicate that it was even a cannoli. $60 to spend on trash. The staff was nice. The environment was clean. The food was just a very soft bar level of quality, especially...
