You may want to avoid the new Chipotle in Surprise AZ. on Litchfield Rd. for awhile. I went today around 4:00pm to pick up an early dinner. For what ever reason we had the TV on for back round noise and I swear I saw a Chipotle ad at least four times talking about their new "limited time Carne Asada" steak. The ad did it's job, I had to have one. Went in to the brand new store. Looked nice and pretty. Lots of employees behind the counter all busy doing something. The young lady who waited on me was very nice. She looked and acted very pleasant. Polite maybe a little new at her job. When she asked me what I'd like I said with a smile, how about that new carne asada thing I saw on tv today. Well my balloon burst into pieces when she said "We don't have any! Then she let me know it would be at least 20 minutes to cook and put together. I could wait if I wanted too. I said no I'll just have the steak Bowl. I stood at the COUNTER LOOKING DOWN AT THE STEAM TABLE. There was no veggies, no lettuce, barely enough steak and one other empty container. She said they had some more on the other side and ran over three times to get what i asked for. Again, she was very nice and I believe she did her best. The issue came down to who ever was in charge should not have let thing get so EMPTY. On top of it, when I got home The "hot stuff was COld" The cold stuff was warm or at best room temperature. My wife ate about half of hers and about 2/3 of mine found it's way to the garbage disposal.
