This is the 3rd time I have bought lunch for my office from this location. It's decent as far as flavor - not high end but overall, okay. The real issue is, they don't label the items. Super hard to spread out all the food - if they took 1 extra second to think about the customer, they would simply write the name of the person who ordered it....ordering online is only convenient if they think about those things. By the time it gets figured out, it's cold. So frustrating. Disappointing. Update: You can see the "reply from the business" - I wanted to follow-up and say what happened after I followed the directions. They asked that I email the address listed to explain what happened and they would address. As is the case in so many of these businesses, it's just written to appear like they attempted a resolution. I have not heard back after emailing and attaching the copy of the review. Update: It has been about a month, still no response from my email to the company (again, it is just supposed to look like it was resolved by posting that but, no help yet). A simple resolution would have taken a couple minutes to talk through and we could have moved on but, it seems typical these days of businesses. Too bad.

Before you walk into this pizzeria/ bar and grill ask yourself a few questions first. First question - Do you really like pizza? If your answer is yes, then you are in the right place. Second question - are you old enough to legally drink in the state of Washington? If the answer is no, then that's okay because they have a lot of non-alcoholic beverage options anyway. If your answer is yes, then there is a full bar readily available and at your service. Final question - do you have friends and do they like pizza? If your answer is a double no, then that's okay because I'm sure they serve single slices and personal pizzas as well. If your answer is a double yes, then bring your friends. You have a great time! If your answers or maybe, then maybe you should stop in and think over it over a slice of pizza. If you're just coming alone for a quick bite or coming with friends and family, the atmosphere is always welcoming at the Rock.

First time here. Brown sugar mozz bread was pretty addicting. I ate it as an appetizer and went back for more as a dessert! I tried it with marinara and ranch sauces- I prefer with the ranch. Their ranch tastes house made- really really good. Also had margarita and the meaty Beaty big and bouncy pizzas. Comparing the Margarita to the pizza I had in Italy (best pizza, EVER btw), I give this one a 4/5. Their crust is crunchier than italys pizzas. My husband says he has nothing negative to say about his and he would order it again cause it has a lot of flavor. He’s looking forward to eating the leftovers tonight with a beer. Staff was really nice. They gave my kids some pizza dough to play with while we waited for our food. I would come back.

A Rockin' Good Time at The Rock Wood Fired Pizza, Tacoma

My experience at The Rock Wood Fired Pizza in Tacoma was nothing short of exceptional. It's a restaurant that combines a vivacious atmosphere with mouthwatering culinary experiences.

The moment you step into the restaurant, you're enveloped in an energetic, yet cozy atmosphere that immediately warms you up. The walls are adorned with rock and roll memorabilia, giving a nod to the brand's iconic theme, and the glow of the wood-fired oven adds a cozy, inviting ambiance that is simply irresistible.

The real star of the show, however, is the food. The Rock Wood Fired Pizza takes pizza to the next level. Each pizza is hand-crafted with love and care, and you can taste the freshness in each bite. They use top-quality ingredients, from locally sourced veggies to gourmet meats, and their homemade, wood-fired crust is delightfully crisp and perfectly chewy.

The pizzas are all baked in their unique, wood-fired ovens, resulting in a perfect fusion of flavors. The smoke imbues the crust with an unbeatable aroma that adds a whole new dimension to their pies. I had the chance to try their "Crazy Train" pizza, and I must say, the combination of cream cheese, smoked bacon, and caramelized onions was a symphony of flavors that danced harmoniously on my taste buds.

Aside from their iconic pizzas, The Rock Wood Fired Pizza offers an extensive menu that caters to various tastes. From fresh salads and hearty sandwiches to indulgent desserts, everything I tasted was delicious. The Rock Wings and the Cajun Calamari come highly recommended. The staff are also accommodating, willing to tailor orders to individual dietary needs and preferences.

The drink selection is equally impressive, offering a range of craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails. The Rock boasts an extensive collection of locally brewed ales, which paired perfectly with my pizza.

And let's not forget about the service. The staff members are friendly, welcoming, and highly efficient, ensuring you are well taken care of. They are well-versed in the menu and are more than happy to help you find the perfect pizza for your palate.

Overall, The Rock Wood Fired Pizza in Tacoma is more than just a pizza place. It's a place to celebrate good food, enjoy good company, and indulge in an exciting, rock and roll inspired atmosphere. It's not just a meal, it's an experience – one that will have you coming...

Friday me and my cousins went here for a great time. I have never been to this restaurant I was really excited to go also my cousins told me that the place was excellent with pizza and burgers and buckets! So we got seated right away which was perfect window view of everything it was different with "The Rock" theme. However our server he was a bit jumpy and over edge because he was probably slammed, new or tired. We waited a good 20 mins for our drinks, another 20 mins for us to order our meal and then 1 hour and 30 mins for our food. So finally when we have our food brought to us, I was a little upset but I let it go. Normally when I come to a table there will already be napkins and silverware which we did not have when seated. So I haven't took a bite out of my burger yet because I wanted ranch and silverware so as I'm waiting for him to come back to our tables with ranch I look over to the side and my little cousin is eating raw I repeat RAW burger!! I told her stop eating that and I opened my burger (I will post a picture after) PINK! I told the waiter well done for me and my little cousin. I opened the burger more to see if it was just that little piece NO the WHOLE INSIDE OF THE BURGER WAS NOT COOKED! No medium rare just RAW! Fresh from the cow raw! So I asked the waiter for a manager he brings out the kitchen manager and the kitchen manager is telling me that he deep fried it! I looked at him and said this! this looks deep fried?! And he said he will make me a new burger in 7-10 mins and I told him no I'm not paying for any of this. He just turned and walked away! RUDE! And then hey bring me my receipt and behold they took only the burger off and didn't even pay for my bill or my cousins! I had to pay for it! Never ever...

Went to this restaurant for someone else, and when I went to pick up the order, I saw a rat run across the floor. I’m only making this post Notify the community so this problem can be solved and quickly. I went on Google to see how the reviews were and see if anybody else knew or saw a rat and I See that there is a post about the same thing six months ago. I worked in the restaurant industry for many years and trust me. This is something that has to be dealt with and I think a big thing is maybe they need to get some ventilation in there and not keep the doors wide open But as we all know, rats can still get in and let’s face it. They are already here and procreating very quickly. The staff was very friendly and helped me very quickly, and everybody seem to be at peace and such a wonderful atmosphere despite the rodents if they even noticed them. Calling pest control and coming up with a plan to eliminate these rodents will be a great thing for this business and this community. I was actually very excited to see the Rock Here in downtown Tacoma and the first thing I was thinking is I need to eat here soon because I love her food, but after seeing the rodent, it definitely made me change my mind pretty quickly. I don’t want this restaurant to lose customers and honestly, I feel like I could go about this a different way, but this is a very serious matter and if it is an ongoing problem Like the post said before this one, then I feel it’s only right to come up with a...
