Sandwiches are huge and greatly priced. Definitely recommend! You order cafe style and wait at a table for your order! Edit: I will never be back to the Tallahassee location unless they get a new manager. Went in with my family for Mother's Day. Ordered our food and it came out to almost $80 for 4 people (2 adults, 1 teenager and one child). Once I realized the order was wrong I went back and asked and it was corrected. We were told it'd be a 25 minute wait, but was served our food in 5 minutes. Which leads me to believe they were trying to lose business by telling the customers a ridiculous time to see if they would still want to stay. We didn't get our drinks for our meals until 3/4 through our meal and charged for a full size drink for the kids meal and it took until shortly after that to bring out my salad. Mind you, I had to go and remind them about our drinks and side salad. Manager seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else besides there. Even when I called to make sure they were open, she sounded miserable and made it seem like she DID NOT want any customers coming in. The sandwich was below par on aesthetics and taste compared to last time I ate here. There was a new guy working the register that day as well, which no one was helping him out. So he was winging it. If he had better employees to teach him, this experience would have never happened. Could they have at least made my sandwich more appealing? Speaking of sandwiches, my son didn't eat the whole thing because there was hardly any flavor, with one slice (thin slice at that) of ham and one thin slice of cheese. No toppings included. Charging $4...... no way that's right. They didn't even include a pickle for anyone but my daughter..... 1/4. Sorry McAlister's. I won't be back until you have better staff and better prices. At least could have been discounted on the meal for all the trouble we had...
Read moreCame in the store to place a to go order around 12:40 pm. Didn’t have to wait long in line however, there was only one person working back in the kitchen. Two ladies taking orders. I waited almost 30 minutes while what looked to be a corporate trainer, or someone pulled both managers aside as she walked by the kitchen that was really busy with multiple orders sitting in the window. She pulls them aside to start going over things there were six people waiting for their orders to go. Multiple orders in the window to be served to tables, and then six people waiting For quite a while to have their order taken. I finally walked up to the managers, and the corporate trainer to let them know that this was going on. Because no one bothered to pay attention and to help out the other staff members that were working very hard to do what they could do. I’m corporate task force for a Hospitality company and no matter what you always make sure your customers and your team are supported And then you do your duties and have your meetings. This was absolutely absurd. on top of that I did not get the right order once I did leave. But the food is good...
Read moreWent in for dine-in but they made it to go. Justice my hostess doesn't greet you, she speaks so low you can't hear her, no smile, no recommendations, and no life in her at all but she makes sure you see the tipping points on the screen. I am normally a BIG tipper but lately I wondering why I am tipping a cashier? Don't they work by the hour? Justice (the host) did not prep my food, make the food, and simple hands it to you. Finally she said I would get a military discount but didn't add it. I had to get the manager to refund it back. Glad I asked for my receipt. Next on to the food. The chili was burnt and scorched. I guess they gave the bottom of the pan. I also received no napkins, no spoon, no crackers, etc. I had to ask for all of that. There no customers there so it was very clean in the lobby. Oh and the carrot cake was great even though Justice said she won't eat it because of the coconut on it. I asked her what did customer's think about it not would she eat it. Justice cheer up life is not that bad. I hope you learn to smile, make recommendations, and enjoy...
