DK's Sports Grill — Restaurant in Tarpon Springs

We were super excited to try this place out and we heard great things, but we were so disappointed. We went in at around 12:50 for lunch and drinks and there was a lady standing right outside the door talking on her phone. Not sure if she worked there or not but we assumed so because she walked out from the restaurant as we arrived. We walked in and the place was completely empty. No employees, bartender,… just no one inside the restaurant besides us. We sat ourselves down and waited for a while before deciding to go someplace else. The lady was still outside talking on her phone and there was no acknowledgment. If she is an employee then that’s a shame. So disappointed that the place seemed deserted. This place is definitely here to stay. The environment is friendly and inviting. The service is phenomenal and the food is even better. You can tell the owners genuinely care about the guest experience by the care that they give to the customers. The bartender Vinny recommended the messi chicken sandwich and The Piazzarella sticks. A huge shout out to Dave, Katie, Sarah and staff who made our 54th Anniversary dinner such a memorable event! Not only were the crab legs and sides extraordinary but the special Extra touches were beyond belief.
