This place is sooo good! I've been to a number of Mediterranean restuarants and this is in the top 5 for sure. My husband and I are visiting from Texas and we stayed at the Confort Inn which is walking distance from this resraurant. I got the beef kebab which comes with rice and salad and it was tender and flavorful. My husband got the chicken shawarma which also came with rice and salad and it was delicious as well. The portion sizes are great, the pita bread which comes before the meal was fresh and tasty as well. Okay, so we went 2 days ago, on Monday, June 21st and forgot to take pics. It was so good, we went again last night so we decided to take pics. I went with the beef kebab again and my husband had the beef and chicken shawarma and we were completely satisfied, again. We also got the "Mijana Mojito" and the "Pomegranate," both alcoholic beverages and they were delicious. The mojito was sooo fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back. Edited review: Today is 10/02/2021, and I am sad to say that we have gone back twice since our first review, and each time, the vibe is not the same. My beef kebab was raw one time and overcooked/burned/dry the other, there was actually a baby roach crawling on my plate (I SWEAR), and I had to return my water because my glass was dirty. My husband told me to video the roach, but I didn't because I don't want to go that far, but I did want to just update people on our latest experiences. My husband and son ordered the Magnum special for 2 (photo added) and it was really tasty to them, but the rice was not hot. I'm really sad about this latest review, but it is what it is. We won't be running back any time soon.

Just left this terrible facility with stains all over my newly bought outfit- no resolution of course. If you like AUTHENTIC middle eastern cuisine walk the other way from this place. I ordered the grill plate for two let’s start there, food was not flavorful whatsoever tasted as if it was just thrown together and then cooked. Waitress was terrible was in the back talking instead of working her tables. The belly dancer could also be taken off the staff, she hit our table spilling our vimto red drink over all of our food and it even poured all over my dress leaving a non removable stain. The manager simply still made us pay even for the drink that we didn’t get to drink because she wasted it and only gave us 20% off and last minute offered to pay my dry cleaning. Didn’t move us to a new table, didn’t refresh our meal as it was ruined from the drink spilling everywhere, and didn’t make sure I left satisfied and a happy customer. This is a greedy low down establishment that frankly needs to work on their customer service and the food selection quality over hosting with an amateur belly dancer. Didn’t offer to refill our waters or give us a new drink but made sure we still paid for it and our entire order that was damaged on top of leaving me with a dress ACTUALLY RUINED from a red drink. I’d never treat customers like this and I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. GO TO SUPREME SHAWARMA OR GREEN CORNER EVEN THEY ARE BETTER OR ANY OTHER PLACE FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD. THIS PLACE WAS DISGRACEFUL and should not give the false impression of Lebanese culture and hospitality this is not it. Support another company instead. It makes sense now why there were only three couples in here should have took that as a sign. Greedy and terrible service for guests. 0 stars.

Atmosphere. The restaurant felt VERY rushful and stressful. I felt like I was getting rushed to leave the place. The belly dances never showed up. We waited until almost 8 pm, and never once did I see a belly dancer. Food. The food was okay. Most of the chicken we got was burnt, but the rice was really good. The regular hummus had like no flavor but also did. It was good. The jalapeño is good IF u like jalapeño. It tasted much better than the original, but once the jalapeño flavor hit, I could not. Service. The service was questionable, may I say. All the waiters and waitresses didn't even know who was serving our table at the start. Our waiter (that technically didn't even servus) seemed like he was in a rush and didn't enter our order in correctly. When we told a nice waitress, she went to the back, and I assume asked our waiter to check up with us. 10 minutes pass by, no waiter. 20 minutes pass by, no waiter. Even she was confused what was taking so long. We never spoke to him again. He walked past us like 50 times, minimum. No asking if anything was right, or 6if we needed anything. Just acted like he wasn't serving us. Fast forward, our incorrect order NEVER got fixed. The owner (I'm assuming) came over and checked us out. Apparently, you can't get extra pita bread (understandable), yet he made an exception for us. We didn't tell him what happened, so our waiter or the waitress must have told him something.

Excellent dinner. We love Middle Eastern, Mediterranean or Lebanese as this restaurant more specifically defines. We have been to many restaurants like this and this one is outstanding. Tonight we had the jalapeño hummus and falafel appetizers and for the meal Mijana Mix Grill which was a steak kebab, chicken kebab and two Kafta kebabs as well as saffron rice, salad and two dips, tzaziki and garlic sauce. If you didn’t know, Kafta is basically a Lebanese meatball or meatloaf formed into a kebab. It contains ground beef, onion and seasoning. It’s a good choice for someone hesitant to try anything too adventurous. We liked ours even more than the steak or chicken kebabs. One reason we felt this restaurant goes far above other similar restaurants is they make and bake their own pita bread in house. You can see them placing dough into the rolling machine through the kitchen window. Then you can see them place the hot from oven pita in the window ledge with the pita puffed up like a big ball before it cools and settles to the flat round circle we expect. Unfortunately it will be a rare occasion for us to enjoy again since our home is in Kansas City, Missouri. Well done Mijana, well done indeed.

indulging in the delicious konafa at Mijana was an absolute treat for the taste buds. From the first bite, it was evident that this place truly masters the art of creating the perfect konafa - a harmonious blend of crispy, golden layers of pastry and a rich, luscious filling that left me craving for more. What sets Mijana apart is not only the exceptional quality of their konafa but also the variety of flavors they offer. Whether you prefer the classic konafa with a generous sprinkle of nuts and a drizzle of sweet syrup. The konafa at is not just a dessert; it's a delightful experience that transports you to a world of sweetness and indulgence. The impeccable balance of textures and flavors is a true testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of the chefs who take pride in creating this delectable treat. Overall, if you're a konafa enthusiast or simply someone looking to satisfy your sweet Mijana is the place to be. Prepare to be wowed by the irresistible charm of their konafa, and you'll find yourself returning time and time again for another delightful bite.
