DO NOT EAT HERE! IUNLESS YOU HAVE 2+ HOURS TO KILL!
So, the food was tasty and the environment was very nice. They had belly dancers, which provided an excellent distraction for how slow and poor the service was. We were there for our anniversary dinner and we recieved one person's meal and waited 35 minutes for the 2nd person's meal which meant the 1st meal got cold as we waited for the 2nd meal before we could eat it. During that 35 minutes there was no belly dancers to distract us, therefore we noticed how long we were waiting. In that time we never saw our waiter except for once when WE waved him down to ask for more pita bread. When I raised the issue to the waiter in the owner, they had an excuse since that they misunderstood we wanted our food together, because one of the items was from the starter menu. I explain that's fine however the service between our meals was unacceptable and he should have asked if you wanted them together. They were not receptive to the feedback the owner kept saying what you want me to do about it and said he was very busy and everybody was fine and happy in his restaurant . Of course that is not true, as I heard other people aa nearby table saying that they had never waited as long for service as they had in this restaurant. Our meal of just 2 items and 2 drinks took 1 hour and 45 minutes. Quite honestly the belly dancers are not that impressive to distract people for that long and the food is not that wonderful to warrant that type of wait. When you add the attitude of a poor manager who will not recognize that he's understaffed & under-trained with his wait staff this type of service will only continue. This was a nightmare! He finally asked what you want me to do and offered to call $10 for the next meal that is laughable. I said I don't want a comp, I want better service. His name is miesa and he's doing a poor job running his restaurant. Despite the food is was good we will not be returning until they get their act together with their service. Unfortunately, if you read other reviews you will see the trend continues to be they have long wait for service. They have Groupon to help drive business. We used one & it's not worth it. I don't recommend using the Groupon or eating at this restaurant....unless you have 2 hours to kill and don't mind sitting without food or...
Read moreJust left this terrible facility with stains all over my newly bought outfit- no resolution of course. If you like AUTHENTIC middle eastern cuisine walk the other way from this place. I ordered the grill plate for two let’s start there, food was not flavorful whatsoever tasted as if it was just thrown together and then cooked. Waitress was terrible was in the back talking instead of working her tables. The belly dancer could also be taken off the staff, she hit our table spilling our vimto red drink over all of our food and it even poured all over my dress leaving a non removable stain. The manager simply still made us pay even for the drink that we didn’t get to drink because she wasted it and only gave us 20% off and last minute offered to pay my dry cleaning. Didn’t move us to a new table, didn’t refresh our meal as it was ruined from the drink spilling everywhere, and didn’t make sure I left satisfied and a happy customer. This is a greedy low down establishment that frankly needs to work on their customer service and the food selection quality over hosting with an amateur belly dancer. Didn’t offer to refill our waters or give us a new drink but made sure we still paid for it and our entire order that was damaged on top of leaving me with a dress ACTUALLY RUINED from a red drink. I’d never treat customers like this and I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. GO TO SUPREME SHAWARMA OR GREEN CORNER EVEN THEY ARE BETTER OR ANY OTHER PLACE FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD. THIS PLACE WAS DISGRACEFUL and should not give the false impression of Lebanese culture and hospitality this is not it. Support another company instead. It makes sense now why there were only three couples in here should have took that as a sign. Greedy and terrible service for...
Read moreThis place is sooo good! I've been to a number of Mediterranean restuarants and this is in the top 5 for sure. My husband and I are visiting from Texas and we stayed at the Confort Inn which is walking distance from this resraurant. I got the beef kebab which comes with rice and salad and it was tender and flavorful. My husband got the chicken shawarma which also came with rice and salad and it was delicious as well. The portion sizes are great, the pita bread which comes before the meal was fresh and tasty as well.
Okay, so we went 2 days ago, on Monday, June 21st and forgot to take pics. It was so good, we went again last night so we decided to take pics. I went with the beef kebab again and my husband had the beef and chicken shawarma and we were completely satisfied, again. We also got the "Mijana Mojito" and the "Pomegranate," both alcoholic beverages and they were delicious. The mojito was sooo fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back.
Edited review: Today is 10/02/2021, and I am sad to say that we have gone back twice since our first review, and each time, the vibe is not the same. My beef kebab was raw one time and overcooked/burned/dry the other, there was actually a baby roach crawling on my plate (I SWEAR), and I had to return my water because my glass was dirty. My husband told me to video the roach, but I didn't because I don't want to go that far, but I did want to just update people on our latest experiences. My husband and son ordered the Magnum special for 2 (photo added) and it was really tasty to them, but the rice was not hot. I'm really sad about this latest review, but it is what it is. We won't be running back...
