My fam and I just moved here, I’m 6 months pregnant and was craving a smoothie so I called an order in and had great service and great smoothies one day so my family and I decided to go a second day in a row and had a completely different experience. I called to place my order again and no one answered the phone after a couple tries. Which I understand they may have been busy. So I arrived and went inside to order but couldn’t see a sign that indicated where to order so I asked. The same girl that had helped me so kindly the day before just looked at me and said “Not here”. I thought ok, and I looked around thinking I was missing an “order here” sign and there wasn’t one so I asked again- “Can you tell me where to order?” And she repeated “not here”. But didn’t tell where I COULD order. Another girl was just standing there and just as I was about to ask her, the first girl finally told me to order at the register. Then they both proceeded to laugh at me! In my face! I felt so stupid and unwelcome. And it’s not like I didn’t tip or anything the day before. So I don’t understand why they were all of a sudden so unhelpful and unwelcoming. The girl checking me out had a weird vibe too. I remembered there was some sort of rewards system and asked her if I needed to put my phone number in anywhere and she acted like I was such an I convenience asking. Qwench is under new ownership as of last month, and we couldn’t wait to try it! I got the Banana Nut Bowl and Super Coffee. Both were excellent! The banana bowl had the perfect amount of sweetness and was really filling. Excellent for breakfast or lunch. I love creative coffee, and the super coffee was a light, fresh, unique option that wasn’t bogged down with tons of sugar. Delicious. My daughter got avocado hummus toast, and it was piled high. Plus all the employees were helpful, kind, and welcoming. A must-go for breakfast or lunch, especially if you’re looking for something light, fresh, and healthy!! This place looked really promising along with all the good reviews. My boyfriend and i got two different açaí bowls, both which were horrible. I eat a lot of açaí bowls it’s my favorite thing so i know when it’s made right. It was almost like pudding texture and the fruits were NOT fresh. The banana was gooey and the strawberries were too. The banana was definitely fermented due to not being fresh. The açaí itself didn’t taste right- tasted watered down and had no fruit or açaí flavor. Just tasted like tap water or something.
