On 4/11/2024, we ordered and paid for 3 grilled cheese, 2 grilled cheese add lettuce, pickle, tomato and onion. Additionally, we ordered 4 large fries. We asked for BBQ sauce, however, we were told it would cost .40 per container so we declined.
What we received: 3 grilled cheese add lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion. 2 grilled cheese. 2 large fries and a BBQ sauce at .40. (You shorted us two large fries, charged us for a BBQ sauce we did not want, and added toppings to a grilled cheese that was supposed to be plain)
We got all the way to our house before we realized the issue. We contact the store at and we were advised we needed to come into the store for a refund as they would not do it over the phone.
We drove back to the store, and spoke with your “manager” on shift. The reason I cannot provide you with her name, is due to the fact that she refused to provide it when asked. Having said that, we asked for a refund for the missing items and she said she could not do that. She said we needed to bring back the ENTIRE order to get the refund. I said to her “how can I bring back the entire order since you shorted me two items”? She said “well I can’t do a refund without getting the entire order back”. I told her that was impossible since she didn’t give me 2 of the 4 fries. I asked for her name so I could escalate the issue, she refused, and closed the window on us.
At the end of the day, you stole from us and refused to refund us for items not given to us. You have an incompetent manager that not only refused our refund, but this is the same manager that handed us our food in the first place - clearly, she did not check the bag to ensure our entire order was there. Not to mention, the two fries we were given, were not cooked all the way.
I have attached a copy to show three grilled cheeses with toppings - again we only ordered 2 of the 5 with toppings. I apologize, I can’t show a photo of the two fries I didn’t received, nor can I return fries I didn’t receive - as your incompetent...

Charging $14 for (1) Whataburger Meal that is NOT fresh is wrong ! … Bun Size is SMALL & Buns are STALE Onion rings are full of grease….fries are STALE, NOT HOTTTT.
The only “positive” reviews are “paid Guides” ..(even paid guides give this Whataburger a BAD review). There used to be a Mexican Manager 1-2yrs ago..he was so nice. Now there’s a young White woman that is so rude to Patrons .
Also the (2) Older Women (age 70ish)that work at night are extremely RUDE..!
The paying public won’t put up with Whataburger bullies & low quality food..!!!
VISIT months ago My friend ordered a burger “plain”. The mean workers do NOT listen . The burger came loaded with everything . The Female Night Manager, age 70ish “grabbed” the burger from our hands and said she would “remake” the burger . We watched her hand it to the cook who just scraped all the vegetables off and then rewrapped the same burger…NASTY ! ( my opinion. : if it’s “Whataburger’s fault” for making the burger WRONG then the Employee should “apologize” NOT force the patron to hand over their burger …they should just remake the burger and give the patron a hot burger, replace hot fries/onion rings with their apologies for the mistake.. ) So simple to do the right thing but this location does NOT have a clue!
When was the last time the Health Department inspected this poorly Managed Restaurant ??
Management must think ASU College Students/Tempe locals are STUPID .

But then they just keep talking to him and not telling him it’s time to leave which creates a line. Fine. I say nothing. I wait my turn, I order my food which I had to repeat myself several times because the girl is clearly not paying attention, and then I pay and sit down. 30 minutes later they have served everyone else and we’re still waiting. I go up to get the food, she hands me a coffee and basically says I only have 3 cream packets and goes to the back. The purple haired manager is literally wandering around with stickers and I go is there no other cream? And she grabs me two more and than I put the cup down expecting someone is going to bring the bag that has our food in it from their counter up front. I wait and wait. And then finally the first girl comes up super rude and goes what are you waiting for? As the guy finally figured out that’s what I was waiting on. I take the bag and it’s missing the second order. At this point my mother is pissed because the food that was in the bag is ice cold. I had ordered taquitos and the cheese wasn’t even melted because the eggs were so cold and old it couldn’t melt. The bacon was basically raw. I had gone up to say the sandwich was missing but by then my mom had said forget it. In between that, they had started making iced tea and didn’t cap off the urn correctly so it was spilling into the floor. I’ve worked fast food. I know it’s stressful but my god! And the purple haired manager still wandering around with her stickers and basically having no expression of this is an issue. This was ridiculous. Waste of 20 dollars. Get your s-it...
