Bahama Buck's - Texas City — Restaurant in Texas City

They have terrible service. Waiting in the drive-through for nearly 20 minutes because their speaker in the drive-through doesn’t work. I spent almost 9 dollars for a medium snowcone specifically the dreamcicle and it was tasteless and full of ice. So as soon as I took a taste out of it and noticed that it didn’t taste like anything, and it was hardly any syrup I went back to drive-through drive-through in 15 minutes or so. I told the younger guy in the window I would like it to be remade because it was tasteless and it was full of ice. He went and told his manager, which was another young man, and I saw the guy just pour some more syrup over the snowcone without even remaking as I asked. It was water down because I have been waiting so long in drive-through. I told him I wanted it to be remade so the told me he could only make me a smaller size since so much was gone as if I had eaten it already. In reality, it was melted down because I had to wait in drive-through because they don’t have a speaker once again so let anybody know there’s an issue.

He proceeded to tell me that he could not remake a medium snow cone, and which I paid for. He said he could only give me a one give me a. I told him I would like a refund. He was very rude. I told him why would I sit and drive-through for 15 minutes If that wasn’t really an issue. He disregarded everything I was saying so I just told him to give me a refund and I left. I will not be back to location in Texas City. They have horrible service.

They should really teach the young people how to properly make snow cones especially for the price you’re paying. The picture always looks nice, but the snow one The Texas City location looks like it’s supposed to lately. We have been here for so long me and my family. The service has definitely changed. I have had this issue before and they remade it for me without a problem. I don’t know what the manager or the owners name is, but he definitely needs training on customer service because his customer service is horrible. I went inside because line was too long. The guy who said he was manager decided to grind ice ok cool we need our snow cones then decided the flavors were out of order and moved them around, got more ice preyed plastic off the went to shave it down there was enough for my cup from first batch. The problem I had is he had same rubber gloves on the entire time for everything. When he scooped my snow cone in to the cup it was with the same gloves and to make the top same gloves. When he handed the the cup I paid nearly 7 bucks for I said you just cross contaminated everything. You touched everything in there and my ice with dirty gloves and he said what am I supposed to make your it with. I told a large spoon and a funnel. I owned a snow cone stand for years and we didn’t touch the ice except to stick in machinery to grind it. Then we removed gloves and replaced. I was sick. It wasn’t a big deal to him so that being said he does it daily and it’s normal. It isn’t sanitary PERIOD. I walked outside and poured out my snow cone. That was the worst Bahama Bucks ever. We were in Texas City, so I decided to take my three children to Bahama Buck's. We usually go to the League City location but have been to several locations throughout the state. I ordered four baby flat tops. When I received them, they were in baby cups. I told them that every other Bahama Buck's I had gone to put the baby flat tops in a small cup because that's what the menu states is how a flat top will be served. By putting them in a baby cup, I am missing half the snow cone that I'm paying full price for. The ladies there said they only up size if it's requested. I then asked them if they could upsize my snow cones so that I was getting the full amount I was paying for. They said because they had already handed me the snow cones that I could not do that. This seems ridiculous to me. Why is this the only location that I have to request this service? At that point, should they not have tried to fix the problem rather than tell me it was too late? I realize it's snow cones, and in the big scheme of life, it's not a big deal.
