I see now why management is like that because nobody cares. I went there last Tuesday and had the Big City Sampler. The fried Mac & Cheese was frozen in the middle not once, but twice. After the second time we told our server to bring us extra waffle fries. We didn't complain and nothing was comped on our check. I decided to give them another chance cuz mom and Preston love bread. They have sweet sourdough and Jalapeno cheddar sourdough bread. The bread wasn’t that good. Our server took our drink order. He came back about 5 minutes later asking if he could take our drink order. The server had issues. It took about 10 more minutes to receive our drinks. We ordered three burgers, two with Jalapeno bread and waffle fries, one with sweet sourdough and potato wedges. They all came out with waffle fries and sweet sourdough so we sent them back. The second time all three burgers had Jalapeno bread. My mom doesn’t like anything spicy she would never order anything with Jalepenos. A lady was walking by and I told her the situation with burgers she took the one burger back. When I received the check it was my full bill. Nothing was comped. The same lady was walking by and I asked for the manager. She said she was the manager. I didn't know she was the manager she never introduced herself as the manager. She didn’t even come back to check on us to see if we were good. So I explained our whole experience. She said she meant to put a discount on the check. Including our table there were four tables of guests in the restaurant. I told her I am a server and I hate to complain and send stuff back. She couldn't have been that busy. Also she only took $17.44 off the check. She comped the alcohol and a coke. I was still charged for 3 burgers and 1 coke. You would think she would've taken all the burgers off the check. I work in the medical field and my husband travels work long hours see more than 200 patients a day and he drives straghit to Washington jusy got home the day before we have 6 kids so never have time alone so we needed a break with a nice drink. We came here today and had a wonderful waitress named samantha. She was one of a kind and was so friendly I was able to have long conversations with while we were there which was great since I am not social. We were literally the only table there. We had a wonderful time minus the guy who kept calling the waitress for being on her phone when I had asked questions about her and she was showing me her baby who again I asked to see. I her someone yell from across the whole building "Sam get off your phone" again it is 9ish and we are the only ones In The building No employee around but Sam at our table. When she turns off fast and embarrassed. She get our food then we continue conversations since again. Literally the only people in the restaurant. The same guy who I find out is the manager who's I ask3d his name Jeremy Reed. My husband had to tell him she'sy couson thinking it would make him leave use alone "it didn't.😒 we continued anyway cause i advised her that was disrespectful and unprofessional. We were finishing our drink and it turned to 11m which at 1110pm we hear him scream from the bar "SAMANTHA" so I then told my husband to chug his drink since it was obvious he was kicking us out. Read moreI have been to this place a few times on my lunch break, and I keep hoping it will get better because the food is pretty good. Basically, the service is terrible, the staff is clearly not trained properly, and the overall vibe is one of incompetence.
Got seated quickly, but there was only two other tables there so no big feat. Drink orders taken and brought out fairly quickly and were correct. At that time, we said we were ready to order. The waitress had to go get her pad first. Why didn't she have one on her? Took our order. Took about 15-20 mins to get our food (remember we were one of three tables there) and all of our orders had something wrong.
I went to the bathroom before our food came and it was pretty disgusting. I checked the sheet by the door that showed the initials of employees checking the restroom for cleanliness/stocked/etc. Someone had already initialed the 12:30 spot. It was only 12:15. While there might have been paper towels, soap and toilet paper, it was far from clean. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned that day or maybe not even the day before. Gross.
We asked for some wet naps since we had eaten wings. She had to go get them. Why isn't that the first thing you bring? The wet naps should be on the table before people are finished eating. Instead they bring them with the check. That makes no sense. There is zero sense of urgency or efficiency in anything the employees do here.
It is really a shame since I do like the wings there, but we will not be returning unless there is a change in management. The slow/inefficient service and dirty bathrooms means that the employees are not being trained or...
