The food in this place is great, tasty and affordable, drinks are good too. The waiting staff is always attentive and polite. The 2 star rating is due to a lady supervisor being rude to us, we used to go to the place a couple of times a week, the music was very loud the last few times so we requested to them to turn it down, just slightly, so we could have a conversation, we didn't feel that it was to much to ask since we were the only patrons in the restaurant, after we finished our meal, the supervisor approached us and told us that if we didn't like the music being that loud we could eat outside in the patio section, which is not heated, nor ever waited, given that we are on the middle of winter we didn't feel like this was reasonable. We won't be returning, it's a shame.

First of all the tortilla chips could be bent without breaking them. (stale) The waiter brought us a second bowl and they were fine. I ordered Tex-Mex cheese enchiladas. The chili con carne seemed like it was similar to Wolf brand chili that had been cooked so long that it hardly had any moisture left in it and was nearly black in color. Extremely salty and my plate must have had over a full cup of it dumped on the enchiladas. My wife ordered some breakfast tacos all with cheese on them because come on...what is a breakfast taco without cheese? It isn't a breakfast taco! Waiter brings them out and not a shred of cheese in sight. We ask them to bring them back to the kitchen and add cheese but was then informed that they are out of cheese. Yes you heard me correctly...OUT OF CHEESE! I pointed to my enchiladas and said where did the cheese for these come from? Waiter explained that apparently my enchiladas contained the last shreds of cheese in the entire establishment. The waiter was nice at least but that is about all I can say good about our experience. I will not be visiting again. This is my first restaurant review so I can say that I am pretty forgiving. I don't nit pick restaurants and understand that we are all humans and not everything is perfect all the time but this was just...

The service was amazing! I dont remember her name, she was a young girl. We (my husband and 2 kids and I) were visiting San Antonio from Dallas and on our way back stopped here for food. This young girl was running the entire restaurant alone on a Sunday! She was slammed and very overwhelmed and gave us excellent service. Our food came out fast and even though she was overwhelmed she took care of every single customer in there with excellent service and also the uber pick ups! The cook even helped if he could. But was also very busy. I recommend this place because of her and her amazing and positive attitude and service. Although it was unfair to her to be left alone on a Sunday which she never complained and never let it show but I waited tables for 10 years so I could tell she was overwhelmed, we will be back here everytime we pass through. I hope whoever owns this place realizes the wonderful employee they have in this young lady. The restaurant could have fallen apart that day, but because of her it ran smooth. We came in around 1 pm on sunday july 7th. This review...

The food was low quality, overpriced and mishandled. I ordered a queso to-go, and it had melted to the styrofoam it was packaged in. Also, the rice with the entree melted into the packaging. I had to peel the styrofoam away from the cheese and that put bits of styrofoam inside the food. The shrimp taco plate (seen in the picture) cost $17.99 and came with three tacos. It definitely was not worth the price paid. I was not notified of the over $2 card payment fee ahead of time.. or I would have brought cash. I called later on to talk to the manager about it and was given another phone number to call.. the number did not work. I called back to speak with literally anyone about my experience and they did not pick up the phone when I called back (and still do not know about my experience). The green salsa was pretty good. 1/5 stars.

It would be great and super helpful to have someone who speaks/understands English to take orders. Waited a decent time for our food but was given the wrong food.. assumed it was a misunderstanding, lost in translation kinda thing.. Also took some time asking questions and the woman, although very nice, did not understand us most of the time.. it made it too hard to order what we really wanted because we felt like questions weren't answered.. they have an extensive menu, we had so many questions about the food.. I'd also like to add that the marg flight is supposed to have lime, mango, passion fruit, and strawberry.. we got 2 limes, no passion fruit.. with that being said, we just let it be and not ask any more questions due to the language barrier.. would have been nice to try the passion fruit..

Pricey, slow service, uncomfortable hot environment, no kids menu & good food. They were understaffed with 1 waitress for the entire restaurant, 9 tables in use. Though, she was polite. Most of the food was delicious but, took long to come out. I got the caldo de res and was happy with it. Plenty of beef in it. The chimichanga was huge and very good. It was lightly fried and very filling. I was disappointed with the milanesa. It was overly fried, tough and not tasty. Also, the tortilla chips are only warmed up there and not very good. I did enjoy the salsas being spicy. I wouldn't go back unless, the prices went down, shorter wait and it was a climate controlled place. Though, it wasn't a terrible experience. It's just not worth it to go through all that with 3 little ones.
