My boyfriend and I had a reservation at 7:15, but was not seated until 7:45 on Valentine's Day weekend. Running behind on reservations for a holiday was to be expected and that was not the reason why I'm giving 2 stars.

First, it took about 20 minutes to get a bartender's attention to even serve us 1 drink each so we could enjoy a cocktail while we waited for our table. Several bartenders made eye contact with both of us, but did not even greet or acknowledge that "they would be with us" etc. After we flagged one of them down, we got our drinks and the bartender said, "thanks for being patient." About 2 minutes after receiving our drinks, our table was ready. We walk over and are seated, but the table is so incredibly small, and I was also handed a menu with a random large piece of plastic.

For our appetiser we ordered the meatballs and they were average ($18). For our entrees, I ordered the special which was a 8oz filet, with asparagus, potatoes, and crab, all with a hollandaise sauce drizzled on top ($80); sounded absolutely delicious. My boyfriend tried the bolognese pasta ($25) per the waitress' recommendations as she stated she had never tried the penne before. We were planning on sharing each other's food so we could enjoy the best of both worlds; some steak, seafood, and pasta. It took roughly 25 minutes for our food to come out too. The waitress came over once the food arrived and asked if everything was fine and then asked if my boyfriend wanted some pepper or grated parmesan on his pasta, he stated he would like some parmesan. The waitress did not ask me to cut into the steak to make sure it was cooked correctly before she walked away (I asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare.) About 5 minutes go by and our waitress never gave us the parmesan, but another worker noticed us sitting there not eating, asked the same question and came back seconds later and grated some parmesan for my boyfriend's pasta.

I finally start to eat my food and it's below room temperature, almost cold, and I cut into the steak and it's RARE. I tried to eat it and even had my boyfriend try a piece. I never spit out food, but I HAD to spit out this steak as it was so chewy, unseasoned, and obviously not cooked my liking. I truly am someone who doesn't like to send food back but for an entree that cost $80 I felt like I really needed to be served better food (mind you, the potatoes were also undercooked and there was probably less than a palm size of crab on my plate which I expected to be given more hence the price.) When the waitress returned to make sure everything was still good, we told her about the steak and showed how undercooked it was, which the waitress then replied, "Oh yeah that's really undercooked and that's about the 2nd time someone has complained about their steak not being cooked right. Not sure what's going on with the kitchen tonight." So keep in mind we've only eaten about 2 bites of my food and was expecting all new food. The "new" food arrived and it was all of my old food, even the pieces I had cut up in advance before realizing it was undercooked. Absolutely disappointing that they served me my old food back with even the same potatoes that were undercooked. My boyfriend's pasta was now cold by the time I received my "new" food, which was cooked correctly but below room temperature AGAIN.

The food was absolutely subpar along with the drinks. Absolutely not worth $80 alone for 4 drinks or over $120 for the food. Waitress came by several times to ask if we wanted boxes as she saw most of our food was not eaten. Not once did she ask if we didn't like it or what was wrong.

Dessert options came out and we ordered the tiramisu. Came out and it was still frozen. Another dish that was $15 and tasted the same as if I were to go to Kroger and get a tiramisu from their frozen bakery selection.

Lastly it took 15 minutes to get our check

Overall a $250 experience felt like a $50 experience. No one acknowledged us leaving to thank us for coming in. We will be recommending to NOT eat here to anyone who asks.
