My husband works hard.for the city.of Topeka and stopped.in to grab lunch for us. He was treated like he was an inconvenience by the actual owner & staff member. The owner was stuck up and treated her paying customer very rude. Besides that, the price is outrageous and the food was not good. We paid $23 for 2 tacos with NO SIDES and NO DRINK. It was just two tacos and they were thrown together and tasted bad and nothing like a taco should taste. We will never eat here again. My husbands boss, who has worked for the city of Topeka for 20+ years also had a very bad experience and said the staff was so rude and stuck up and he will never go back either. Very disappointed with this business, their food, their outrageous price, the staff, and the owner. All around big thumbs down!!

May I suggest that you humble yourself. As much as I wish you had a genuine response and a genuine desire to hear feedback about your company and make your customers happy, I believe that your response.to my review was nothing more than your ego screaming outloud. Your ego may be your worst enemy. The beginning of your realonse is laughable. Im glad I could be your reminder that you have not reached perfection. May I add that although you may have received hundreds of positive reviews, you still had a customer walking away from your business with a very bad experience and a small town like Topeka, the word can spread very fast im not here to knock you off your high horse but I am here to remind you that your in the people business and your attitude about this feedback has shown no accountability for the bad experience we had and shows that you clearly feel like you have no room for improvement. Your breakdown of receipt does not change the fact that the lrice is outrageous and the quality of the food was poor. I guess I can edit my statement stating there were no sides included. Instead I will say that the chooces.of sides are disappointing and portions are extremely small. One of those few choices is a banana. I just cant wrap my head around spending that type of money ever again for the food we received. No drinks included in that price either. I could go on about the bad parking and that the employees park in the very little parking for the customers. (The 2 hour parking in front of the building) But its clear that your too close to perfection to find any room for improvement. The last thing I will respond about... Im not sure what your sarcastic remark about "we all look the same" is meaning but it was uncalled for. Im pretty sure the owner is the only one who has a "special" parking space. Read moreA girl took my order and I have dietary restrictions and so it was detailed. She was very rude and not accommodating. I worked most of my life in customer service and decided to tell a manager about my experience. I told a manager and considered it done. When I came in again the following week both the girl and manager were snickering and it was very apparent she had told the girl about my feedback and who I was. I felt completely unwelcome (and this was my favorite coffee shop in Topeka). So, I asked to speak to the owner (again... I would want to know if my employees were unprofessional) Erin (owner) was even more rude. She said she always had good reviews about her employees and said “what do you want me to do about it?” (And not in a nice way). I explained to her fully that I was just trying to let her know that as a customer I felt like I was unwelcome. She continued to not apologized but, act like I had interrupted something she was doing that was far more important than me.

Read moreI have been coming here for well over 3 years. I love their coffee and the vibe is always pleasant. However, within the last 2 months, I have seen a huge change in their staff and their attitude. I tip and I tip well, especially during this whole pandemic. I myself work in the service industry so I understand how people at times can be difficult. But me being a normal, nice customer that supports local businesses here in Topeka, I am sad that they never say Thank you, they never smile, they barely say hello... nothing. I miss seeing Chevelle who was my favorite; she was always rad and cheerful. This review wouldn't exist if this was an "off day" one time situation. I don't write a bad review for a one-time issue since I am understanding to how the service industry is. But this is weekly. I come here at least 3 times a week for my coffee and I always call in my order to give them a heads up. Every time I call, the lady who answers sounds miserable.
