The best food we've ever had, and that's saying something! I don't write reviews, but I absolutely had to!!! My family tries something a little different on Fridays and get lots of different things to share. I'm glad this Friday we tried Olive Cafe because we're addicted!!

I love gyros, and the Olive Cafe Gyro sandwich was the most perfect gyro ever!!! I went with a lamb gyro, and it was an absolute sensation!!! Warm, fresh pita wrapped around a ton of lamb, like seriously, it is STUFFED with meat, onion, tomato, and oh that tzatziki sauce. The fries are light and crisp and seasoned perfectly-I didn't want to share! The Fatayer Cheese was a perfect appetizer-1 is perfect for one person, but they're so delicious, you'll want two so go for it!!! The falafel was perfect-light and airy and amazing with the sauce, and I say that as a person who hates cilantro and thinks it tastes like soap-they do something with it in the falafel that makes it impossible to stop eating!! It comes with hot pita bread wrapped in foil so it stays warm and soft. Wrap the falafel in the pita and drizzle a bit of sauce on each bite-perfection!!!

The hummus deserves its own review. It was astounding!!!! The seasoning is perfect, it's got this smooth texture that's to die for, the olive oil is the best olive oil I've ever tasted, and it came with fresh, warm pita bread that was nearly impossible to stop eating on its own!!!

For dessert, I got the kunafa, baklava, and the warbat so we could all try a bit of everything. The baklava was crisp and delicious-every layer was a song. They're larger than you think and the nuts inside are seasoned AND toasted or something-it was all so perfect together!! The kunafa cup was new to me and I should've known it was gonna be perfect!!! Crisp outer shell that's a taste sensation hides this delicious creamy inside that I can't describe or compare it to anything-it's that good!!! The warbat was also new to me, and it's so great-it's like baklava grew up, became a giant, got filled with a cream that's different than the kunafa cream-it's perfect with the crisp outside!!

This is about to be our regular spot-the whole family loved everything, and it's so nice to have such an amazing place in Topeka. Everything travels perfectly-don't be afraid to order delivery!!! Next time, I'm going in and trying the mint tea and Turkish and Arab coffee with my meal and I'm looking forward to it!!! Thank you for the perfect night!!!
