As usual with my random acts of spontaneity, we found this place unintentionally. That morning I had actually missed reviewing a brunch location somewhere else and we sort of walked right into this one. Brasserie makes brunch every Sunday and not just on Easter. The atmosphere was very welcoming as it was a holiday so we were able to enjoy each other as well as converse with the bartender. She was quite nice in fact allowing us to finish our last rounds after closing time. The food was excellent. I loved their rendition of eggs Benedict and the caprese salad was delicious. We started out with an Irish coffee which hit the spot. It was the perfect encouragement for a few more rounds haha. Next I had tried a mango beer from Southern tier for the first time and it was also quite delicious. Now feeling adventurous I decided to go with the bloody Mary which was delightfully spicy. And finally since I liked it so much I had one last mango beer to wash it all down. I'm excited to try their regular menu items as the bartender mentioned they are constantly making new delicious changes as well as offering different specials. Thanks for the hospitality and good eats. See you all again soon!!!

The Brassiere is great! And I'm surprised I've never reviewed it. Been many times over the years and it's always great. I've been a huge fan of their Arancini and Cuban Sandwich especially. This trip we got the Open face Turkey and Shredded pork Au jus and they were both incredibly flavorful and delicious. Easy to recommend. We also got the Toffee Butter Cake. I really enjoyed it, my wife was disappointed in it so personal preference wins the day! My wife also ordered a season drink and she was very happy with it. The bar had always done a great job when we've visited. The Brassiere itself is always so quaint, nicely decorated with music softly playing. Always decorated nicely for the season, making it very cozy. Always had great experiences with the staff, they are kind, helpful and efficient! I highly recommend you give it a try! Enjoy!!

My gosh where do I start. Placed a take out order over the phone, guy who took my order seemed Incompeten at best, had to repeat several things several times, red flag #1. I ordered a chicken Philly and asked for bacon and American cheese to be added. Got my sandwich home and no bacon was added in fact on the receipt it says "no bacon", when the sandwich doesn’t even come with bacon in the first place so why would you say no bacon?! I ordered two sandwiches and chicken wing dip and the total was $55, red flag #2. I went to pick up the food and I had to wait 15 minutes when my order was sitting at the counter the entire time and I even told the hostess my name but they still didn’t get my order, so of course everything IS FREEZING COLD when I get home(I live 2 mins from the restaurant). I go to eat my chicken wing dip and have about 6 pieces of chips to eat with the dip...like seriously??! Both sandwiches were sloppily done with no seasoning AT ALL. I am all for giving grace to restaurants and businesses during this time but this service and the inadequate food that they are serving plus the over charging is absolutely ridiculous! If you are looking for somewhere to eat do yourself a favor and try somewhere else.

This locally owned restaurant serves excellent regional and international food with several dishes inspired by French cuisine. If you enjoy spicy food, start with the Brasserie Greens which are a take on Utica Greens. Follow that with another spicy dish from Utica, NY, chicken riggies. We also have always enjoyed their burgers and steak specials. Service is friendly and efficient, and prices are reasonable considering the high quality of the food. UPDATE: Three of us tried their Sunday brunch for the first time and two we're disappointed. The decaf coffee was below par and the portion of quiche served was small. The biggest disappointment was the brunch dumpster plate. Instead of the 3 scrambled eggs promised, there may have been 1, whereas the major component was small cubes of non crispy potato not mentioned in the description of the dish. One star was deducted from my previous rating. Post Pandemic UPDATE: They are still having consistency problems. When they hit it, it's delicious. But sometimes, they miss by a mile. A second star deducted from my original five-star rating.

Very noisy but fast service. The pulled pork sandwich was so greasy it was dripping but it was served incredibly fast. The french fries were very crispy and flavorful. They do have a large drink selection but the menus were a little strange. There is one nicely printed professional menu with food items, one specials menu that is just a sheet of paper with items scribbled on it in marker, and the drink menu with about 4 pages hand scribbled and stapled together. It was difficult to hold conversation as it was very busy and a lot of ambient noise. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

I recently tried the chicken & riggies and creme brûlée at The Brasserie, and they were both incredible! The chicken & riggies had a perfect blend of flavors with a hint of spice, and the creme brûlée was creamy perfection with a delightful caramelized sugar topping. It was a truly memorable dining experience!
