Golden Dragon is definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area and probably my favorite place to order takeout from in general. The owners are incredibly sweet and the food has always been tasty. There are two tables so you can eat in, and there are usually people doing so at lunch, but it's mostly takeout.
The food is slightly different from what every other Chinese takeout nearby (and in most of the upstate I've tried) serves, so don't go in expecting an exact carbon copy of everything else around, but that's also part of what makes it special. My disclaimer is I'm not a New York native so have found other Chinese takeouts around to be rather disappointing and pretty much all the same - we call them "adequate for cravings" but generally a little disappointing and unsatisfying, so rarely go back to the same one twice. The General Tso's chicken was perfectly crispy and coated in a tangy, yet slightly sweet sauce that left me craving more. The vegetable lo mein was loaded with colorful, crunchy vegetables and the noodles were cooked just right.
