Edit: Management is there, they just don't care. At least, since the manager yelled at me, that's what I'm presuming is the issue.
Again, I order pizza through Door dash and arrive a few minutes past the pickup time to get it. It's not ready, there are a few people waiting, and only a handful of customers in the building.
So I wait another half hour or so and all three of my pizzas come out. They slice and box two, then start shuffling the orders all over the place, seeming extremely disorganized. After all, this is a handful of people in a Tuesday night, so I'm not really sure why they can't get it together.
So they're talking back and forth, two of my pizzas are on the counter, and the third is just sitting there. I made the classic customer mistake of asking if I can get my third pizza so I can get going. At first, they had no idea what I was talking about. So I pointed out that it's the part of the order, hence the paper on top of it that's labeled as part of the order.
This is when the manager decides to yell at me for asking, tells me he's "with a customer." Ok, that customer came in 45 minutes after I ordered my food. So they make me wait a few more minutes, slide the third pizza, and stack it on the other two.
I take the boxes and head for the door, to which the "manager" says to my back "have a nice nice, you know PATIENCE is important!" I whirled around to yell back, but there was no point. What a terrible way of dealing with customers on a light business evening. They're all over the place and if you ask for something, they yell at you and insist it's your problem.
Again, 1-star.
Where is management?
I've ordered from this location many times, but then the last time I went to pick it up, I arrived on time and waited another 20 minutes...which is fine.
However, tonight, I waited over an hour and never even got the pizza. They were completely disorganized and everything was such a mess. I had ordered the pizza on Door dash and arrived at the pickup time. An hour later, they hadn't even started making it. They didn't even know it was there, along with at least a dozen other online tickets that were simply being ignored.
There was quite a line for walk-ins and at least 8 of those customers were served while I was waiting. The Door Dash recipes were randomly spread out on multiple counters, customers were complaining about the wait times and mistakes on their orders. It was a horrendous mess. Eventually, since I had my small child with me, I just couldn't wait any longer.
I went to the register and asked about the order, which is when they told me they hadn't even made it yet. Over an hour and a half after ordering it, they hadn't even made it, and I had a hungry kid with me.
I told them to cancel it, I had Door dash refund the money, and I'm absolutely not going back until management steps in and fixes this place up.
Over an hour on a Monday night? I'm sure there are a dozen places near me that...
Read moreTerrible experience! I’m a frequent customer where I usually order in store. But tonight was different and I had to order through their website for delivery. Once my order was delivered we instantly knew something wasn’t right because there was only one pie and a box of cheesy bread. We ordered the 5 for $35 and an 11inch pie total $57. We immediately called the store several times to no avail. So we contact DoorDash and unfortunately they stated they couldn’t do anything about it since I ordered through blaze and once I did that they served as a third party. Unfortunately, because our vehicle wasn’t working (reason why we delivered) we had to get in an uber (wasn’t cheap and we don’t live nearby) to the store, we also brought the two items that was delivered to us. Keep in mind the order wasn’t securely taped it was open..unacceptable since we’re having it delivered to us. Once we get into the store, the young woman looked at us and turned her back to not make contact. I’m assuming because she saw we had an order in our hand and didn’t want to deal with why we were there. I got her attention and instantly greeted with an attitude and she seemed annoyed as I was explaining to her what happened. I showed her proof of my order etc. she asked me for my name and said “ oh here’s the rest of your order” I couldn’t believe she was giving me an order that’s been sitting there it was cold and didn’t look very pleasing. So I asked her can I get the order redone, she looked at me and said I can give you a refund for the pie and cheesy bread that we had and for us to take the other order that was sitting there. I said I rather not take a refund and I just want my food redone, she was pissed! She stated it wasn’t their fault it was the dasher fault and she proceeded to tell the other employees they had to remake it. I told her I’m not here to argue, I just got in a cab all the way here and just want what I paid for. She proceeded to whisper to her coworkers. I was more than patient and kind considering I had to take an uber there as well as back home. Where was the apology or anything? This wasn’t free food I was coming for..this was money that my husband and I spent to have good quality food that was supposed to be delivered to us. Paying for a delivery fee plus our pizza only for us to get in an uber there and back was frustrating. Spent close to $100 for something that was supposed to be done right in the first place. Please if anyone is thinking about ordering I suggest to order directly through door dash itself and not through blaze because if there is an issue with your order at least door dash can rectify the problem. You will NOT be able to get ahold of them via phone. I will add pictures on what I received..where was the safety tape that was supposed to close the order so it’s not messed with? Where was the rest of my order? Terrible all around. That’ll be great if someone can reach out to me because this...
Read moreMy partner and I were waiting in line at your Niskayuna location and we encountered a series of seemingly blatant occurrences with your staff at this location. We had been waiting and moving along in the line as circumstances allowed, this was about 6:30pm at this point. The staff member who was supposed to be serving us , again seemingly blatantly skiped him and I. She started taking the order of a party of 4 who were very clearly after us in line. It seemed as if neither the employees nor the party behind us would be acknowledging anything with us in the near future. It was very strange; they just weren't addressing us at all. Mind you certain people and orders were all going along and moving very quickly and the e-commerce/online aspects aren't even visible to us the consumers. I digress. Its fast paced, sure. I understand that much from being in the store for about 45 minutes in total. This visit was the first time going to this Blaze location for my partner, and my first time in the recent past that I'd been; we weren't expecting the service we'd received however. I didn't question it thinking they were just taking the order of the big group to save time. They skipped us. Then I have to speak up and say, excuse me no one has offered to place our order yet. She apologizes. Then after taking my order, we patiently wait for the take out online orders to finish. After this, despite being ahead and only a party of two, the party of FOUR received their finished order(s) before mine and my boyfriends two build-your-own-pizzas. This made things more blatant we were purposefully skipped. Then we decide while waiting to get our food to get a limited edition smores snack. As it happens the chip reader malfunctions. Nonetheless, it says clear as day on the screen "chip malfunction" The staff members says "it declined" and I say no, it says chip malfunction. My partner tries again another few times it goes through. I will not be going back to this location. We are a interracial couple and it felt that our bad service was racially motivated. It is safe to say we will not be coming back to...
