I usually go to the Flushing location but decided to try this one out since it was closer to me. I ordered 2 mini Q coco sago so I could have one for home, and when I drank the first one it tasted and smelled like someone vomited in it. Very different from the ones I had in Flushing. I tried the other one when I got home and it was the same. I soon realized that they were both made with rotten milk. I then got food poisoning the day after and I never have food poisoning.
I don’t think I will be returning to this location again. I hope that staff will check expiry dates on products for other customers in the future.
Edit: I am not able to respond to the response by the team, but I cook on my own at home and I know what rotten milk smells and tastes like. I respect this brand and understand that mistakes can be made but will not be told that I am making false irresponsible accusations after what I have experienced. I am not seeking a refund or any punishment of the staff, simply requesting that whoever is on shift ensures that the food is kept safe properly, especially double checking in the morning right after opening. I have worked in food service before as an assistant manager for 3+ years, it really is not difficult.

When we walked in the staff member behind the counter didnt even greet or acknowledge us. We were confused about the menu and she didnt even try to help us. Then when we wanted to order she looked at us like we had 3 heads. I don't blame her for not having good customer service. I blame the management/owner for not training them properly. Read moreI went to Meet Fresh in Jericho today (6/24/2025) at 9:05 PM. There was a group in front of us ordering, and the staff looked at us and said, “Do you know we close at 9:30? If you place an order, I won’t get off work until 10:30.” She basically told us to leave. Her attitude made us feel really uncomfortable so we left.
It’s summer now, and they don’t even open until 5:30 PM. But at 9:05 PM, they’re already rushing customers out? I really like their desserts, but this kind of service makes me think twice...
