This place is hard to find, but it's like finding treasure. These folks are the same people who run Good Smoke BBQ. The staff was nice, attentive and welcome. Their food is OUTSTANDING. We ordered chicken and waffles, Nashville hot chicken, crispy ribs and tatchos. The chicken is SO beautifully crispy, and paired so well with the waffles and the bacon that was resting on top. The chicken was a generous size as well. I'm fairly certain the waffles were Eggos, but I literally did not care, the chicken was that good. The Nashville hot chicken is legit and made one of my tablemates sweat. They're not kidding with the "hot" part. He said it was about as amazing as a unicorn. The crispy ribs are the same as what you'll find at Good Smoke BBQ. You bite into them and meat pulls easily off the bone and is crispy, sweet and should be somewhere on the food pyramid as its own food group. The tatchos are tater tots with pulled pork on top with cheese, onions and tomatoes, and is fabulous for sharing. It's so delicious, so filling (which you won't think it will but oh boy even sharing, you might end up taking some home!) you'll need to remind yourself to stop eating it so you have room for your actual meal! Everything on the menu is a la carte but everything is reasonably priced. For example, if you want a sandwich and a side, those are separate. I did NOT need a side of anything with the chicken and waffles. Those were 6.99. I can't say enough good things other than I need another stomach or I have to keep going back every other week to try all the other things on their fantastic menu.
The pictures I posted show how to get in the back entrance, as, I mentioned, it's a little hard to find.
Edit: I've added pictures of the chicken and waffles, tatchos, the roc plate and the...
Read moreDined in around 530 on a Saturday evening. We have purchased take out a few times in the past but decided to dine in for the first time. Little date night with the husband. I was craving the pulled pork egg rolls and the fried ribs. We were informed as we sat down that they were out of pulled pork and ribs. We were disappointed, but I have also ordered the bacon jam burger in the past and really loved it, so that was what I ordered again. Didn't take a pic bc I was really hungry, but the bun was nice and toasted, bacon jam sweet and savory, burger grilled perfectly. My husband ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was fried too perfection, with a huge portion and also very well made. Only complaints are the chicken sandwich needed more ranch, mayo, or blue cheese. Also, the side portions seemed a bit on the small side. We like to share our entrées but struggled with the small portions of sides. I ordered tots, and my husband ordered Mac salad. The owner (I'm assuming the owner) had friendly banter with customers who seemed...
Read moreAbsolutely loved this place and would make one or two visits a week with my boyfriend. Have been coming here for a few years now, recommending it to all friends and coworkers. No issues with orders until recently. Some inconsistencies in the food such as pulled pork sandwich that was dry without any bbq sauce, or roc style sandwiches with little to no sauce. Today, we ordered the usual 2 roc style sandwiches to-go. Got home just to realize there was some sort of extremely spicy sauce on it instead of roc style sauce… Had to call and go back to pick up new order. Again, got home the same issue!!! Sauce was not as spicy, but still not the correct sauce. Pretty disappointed. Stuff like this happens, but it’s not safe when your boyfriend is a type 1 diabetic who requires insulin to eat, and if he doesn’t eat the food he already dosed for - he can have a hypoglycemic episode. What happened to the consistency? This was my...
