So I have passed Parrot Cove my whole life and never knew until my mid 20s that you can actually dine here (it used to say Yacht Club on the front of the sign so I always thought it was some sort of club). Finally, I got a moment for my birthday after years of on and off thinking about this place (as I don't pass it as frequently as I used to) to give this place a try. Wow!! It was wonderful. Great food, kind staff and for the price the food was way above worth it. $8 burger specials on Wednesday with fries, and they made it the way I like it, I added provolone cheese, mushrooms, and their crispy onion strings. Fries were hot, cripsy, and wonderful. Also, I got the filet steak bites. It was wonderful, great quality steak. For dessert we got the Mississippi mud pie (which had the perfect amount of coffee flavor and was a wonderful dessert!) which we talked to one of the ladies who works there who made it and she was so sweet. Overall, it was a wonderful place. I can't wait to go back again and try out their other menu items! Our waiter was also a really nice person who was always attentive and we had a good conversation with! Great place with nice people. Just make sure to have cash or Venmo to pay, as they don't accept credit cards (which they have a sign on the front that says Cash or Venmo only, right...

DO NOT EAT HERE! This place is one of the most disgusting places I ever worked for. I could only stand it for 9 days before I had to walk away due to numerous customers getting sick and complaining. Their food is rotten, as long as it's not frozen due to improper storage techniques and poor quality. Their "famous" margarita is nothing more than a stolen recipe from a Jimmy Buffet book. The owners, Bill and Maria, are 2 of the worst human beings on the face of the Earth due to stealing portions of employees paychecks and telling them to "deal with it." This happened to me both times I was due to be paid, once for $150 and $80 the second (I only worked there 9 days total). It is in your best interest to NEVER do business with these people. THIS IS YOUR WARNING! Garbage resturaunt owned and ran by garbage people.

Update: The person responding to this post named "Jon Doe" is nothing more than the owners. 2 days after I posted this I received a phone call from bill about it. Do you you guys really think people are stupid? I am not a disgruntled employee, just a former employee who wanted to get paid for work done. The only reason I left is because I wasn't getting paid. See a theme here? Don't take my word for it, ask any other employee. That place is a revolving...

The Margie’s here were awesome, now… meh. The wife and I are serious drinkers and always loved the Margaritas here. We haven’t been back in a while since maybe 2019 and stopped going because the food quality was going down and the prices were going up still, the Margaritas were great, even for $11 which was quite expensive at the time. Now they are $13 and are no better than $5 Margie at a Mexican restaurant. High sour mix and low on the good tequila. The exact opposite of what they were.

Bill and Maria are nice people and have always provided excellent service and great food but I suppose input costs and a slow economy have taken their toll on the bottom line, hence the shrinkflation. I hate to leave them a bad review but, buyer beware.

We were surprised to see no one at the bar on a Saturday night but after our drinks, we figured out why. $32 for two drinks with a tip? It should have been much better. Not a glass full of ice, weak tequila and cheap bottled sour mix. When you finish your Margie and the ice is still up to the rim, you know you just got screwed. Oh, and it was like 84 degrees in the restaurant. I was overheating and not from...

I came to Parrot Cove for the first time to meet up with a buddy of mine. We saddle up to the bar. My first impression is the service is not that great. I am not sure if the bartender, maybe Maria, was having a bad day, but we had to flag her down for everything. Can I get a drink? Can I get a menu, can I place an order, etc., etc. they were not busy, only a few people. I ordered up the half slab of sweet potato French fries with a French onion soup. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The ribs meat falls off the bone nice flavor to them. The french onion soup was fantastic As well as the sweet potato french fries. I will come back and give it another shot because the food was delicious. May service will be better next time.

I have been driving by this place for years! Always I want to go there one day! I finally did it. I cannot believe it took me this long. Looking this place up we saw so many positive reviews about Maria. We were lucky enough to have her as our waitress. She was amazing with a lovely personality. By reading the reviews my boyfriend got the prime rib but I got the ribs. Why are they so underrated? The ribs were cooked to perfection. I have to say probably the best ribs I ever had! You barely touch them and they fall off the bone! The prime rib was excellent too! But I am telling you get the ribs!!!!
