this is kind of long, but i just had the worst experience at jack in the box. i ordered a bacon ultimate cheeseburger, medium french fry, and 2 tacos no sauce, 4 sides of ranch and 2 taco sauce packets. this order was placed through the jack in the box app, and i used 60 points to get the bacon ultimate cheeseburger for free, so in total for that order i was charged about $5, but anyone who knows how the points system works in the app knows that it takes at least $60 worth of past orders to even accumulate 60 points. i accidentally placed this order at the wrong location, which was about 30 minutes farther than the one i meant to order from, so i tried to call this one to let them know to hold off on making my order because it would undoubtedly be cold by the time i arrived, and i wanted fresh food (which i feel is not too much to ask for, as a former jack employee). i wasn’t able to reach anyone because someone kept disconnecting my call without answering, this happened like 3 times. rude, but whatever. so i get there at least 30 minutes after my order had initially been placed, and try to ask the older woman at the speaker if they could remake my order and explain the situation politely, and the woman did not respond and just told me to pull forward. she still gave me the original food and everything was, in fact, cold. i pulled back through the drive thru and explained to the woman again, and she said they couldn’t remake my order because of food cost. i understand food cost is an actively monitored stat, but i also know that if a paying customer says the food they were given is cold or otherwise not up to standard, it’s their job to correct it and remake the order. i was trained to offer a complementary drink or dessert, as an apology for the inconvenience. instead, i as the customer was apologizing for the inconvenience i caused the employees, and was still met with rudeness and snide remarks. i respectfully told them they absolutely can remake my order, and after saying basically what all i just typed, a younger girl spoke up on the speaker, cutting me off, and said “okay we’ll remake your $5 worth of food for you” with the snarkiest, nastiest, stank breath tone ever. i get up to the window and see someone walk up to peak at me in my car, then they rolled their eyes and went back into th kitchen. i was irritated, but decide to not comment on it or the girl’s remark, and just make a mental note to check my food items for any possible tampering, as i wouldn’t put it past them at this point. i think the girl who made the rude comment was the girl with light colored glasses that were pointed like cat eyes. i couldn’t see any name tags, but she had a little tattoo on the side of her neck. when she handed me my food, it was only the tacos and fries, so i reminded her about the burger, and waited patiently for them to make my burger again, while my fried items sat getting cold (i know the fries and tacos technically only have a 5 minute shelf life once cooked.) none of the sauces i asked for were given to me. this all happened 3/1 friday night, i placed the order at 10:53pm, so i probably made it to the location and went through all this anywhere from 11:30p-12:00a. i hope you get that girl some better training, being that bad at such simple customer service (i wasn’t even being difficult, i told them they could park me if they wanted to, i didn’t mind waiting) is just embarrassing for her and...
Read moreI ordered ten of the two tacos via the website a little after 6pm on Saturday Dec. 7th for pickup. My friend walked up to the restaurant to pick up the order and arrived around 6:30 PM. Upon returning to my home she exclaimed to me while very upset that they were refusing to give her extra taco sauce that I asked her to request. While I ordered the tacos through the website with extra lettuce, sauce & extra cheese that I paid for, I still like extra sauce because I like a lot of sauce and even when ordering them with extra sauce they still seem to only put the normal amount. Which is why I request more. We’re paying customers first of all. This is HIGHLY unacceptable and beyond poor customer service but it didn’t end there… as we began to open our tacos to eat I immediately noticed there was another issue. My tacos had no extra lettuce, sauce or the extra cheese I paid for. They barely even put any lettuce on them at all. I immediately called the store to tell them about the issue requesting to speak with the manager on duty & I was met with a very rude response and attitude after I explained the problem. The so called manager “Cassandra” literally told me I could just come up there and get the extra lettuce and cheese to put on my “Already made” tacos myself!! Are you serious?!! I told her that is extremely unacceptable as I’d like my order remade and made correctly as ordered. She replies to me “the tacos were already made but we’ll remake them & you can come get them, give us like 10 minutes” then rudely just hangs up the phone. No apology or anything!! That manager needs to be demoted and replaced immediately. This is so unacceptable and the worst customer service I’ve ever received at this location. Read moreMy friend and I ordered food for ourselves and children, we waited in the drive-thru for 20 mins and when they left something out we were told we'd need to wait in the line again because they didn't want to come outside, once we finally got home after this we started to eat, but multiple items didn't taste right, had a super salty flavor to them, both people who ate just a couple bites of the weird tasting food ended up getting sick and vomiting any other food they ate back up, when I called the restaurant to inform them they said I needed to speak with the district manager because it could be food poisoning, when I finally was able to get ahold of the DM 3 days later I informed him what happened and his only response was "you have no proof that you got food poisoning from those burgers and I will not be refunding you" after a long conversation he offered a gift card for half the amount we spent just to get me off the phone, when I told him I don't want a gift card for a place that got me sick he just said "oh well, you can either take it or not" I accepted the card because he wasn't doing anything else to help, ended up giving the card to a homeless person hoping they won't get sick too... this was not an appropriate response to someone saying they got food poisoning from their food, we will never be going back, but I wanted to warn everyone else!!
