(Sorry, long post)So....I did Door Dash pickup, and knowing how my husband dislikes mayo on ANYTHING, he ordered the triple burger. In the special instructions, I noted "no mayo-no onions". Well. I pick the order up, feeling confident that there is no mayonnaise or onions on the burger, since I noted it. I get home and before I gave my husband his burger, I checked it. It was slathered in mayonnaise. I called the restaurant, and this is where it gets ghetto and tacky.. The lady that answered the phone had the audacity to tell me that I did not make any special notes on my order and that I was wrong. She apologized, but then told me that I was wrong and I didn't make any special request. I know I did, but I almost felt like I didn't make the request. This went on for several minutes (four minutes too long) when she FINALLY decided to check the ticket and guess what she saw...NO MAYO-NO ONIONS. She apologized again and told me the next time I do a Door Dash order to note the mistake and the next burger would be free. I was like, "how about you remake the order and I'll be there in 10-15 minutes?" She said okay and I hung up.. Me and my dog made our way back to the restaurant with the mayonnaise burger. Sat in the drive thru line for another 15 minutes before getting the replacement burger. Oh, I forgot to mention the lady did offer me a free drink whike I waited for the burger, but I can only have soda. She didn't have the syrups for the teas and smoothies (I don't drink sodas! And if you're out of the syrups, take the signs down. 86 the items). I get that restaurants have issues with the shortage of supplies and staff, but to argue with a customer is not cool at all. Angie's Fish and Wings will be a long lost memory. I will never go back. It'll be a cold day in hell before I order...
Read moreOkay this is a tough one. I went here for lunch. The service was okay, however they were busy. The girl behind the counter was sniffling which was noticable after she began sneezing. But moving on I had the 2 fish, 3 shrimp, and 2 crab cakes, this meal came with a 2 sides. For those sides I went with okra and slaw. I waited for a bit, but the sign does say"Fresh, Never Frozen." I was given the option of fried or grilled. I went with fried, this could have been where I made my mistake at. I was happy when it came out it looked very good. The first thing I tried was the shrimp, it came with 3. Man it was good and it was a big shrimp, I would venture to say a prawn. The shrimp appear to be hand breaded. They were good that is the reason this place gets 3 🌟. A 🌟 for every piece of shrimp. I tried the fish next it was a thin piece with what appeared to be cornmeal breading. This was so thin it was almost all cornmeal. The second piece was somewhat thicker with good, not great flavor. Next I tried the crab cake, it was about the shape and size of a hockey puck, also just as dense. The breading was so thick and what was on the inside was just meh at best. I didn't even eat the second one. The hush puppies, also not very good. One bite and that was enough to make me stop eating it. The sides were good. But all together with my drink it was an 18 dollar plus meal and the 3 shrimp were the highlight. If you go here save your money don't get the crab cakes thats what pops the price up. Plus they're not that good. Get the shrimp, if you love shrimp this is the place, you'll love it. Again 3 🌟 for 3...
Read moreOne of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa. I eat here about once a week. The burgers are average and not worth it in my opinion. The wings are great! The sides are pretty average. I like the fries, red beans and rice, and mac and cheese but they aren't anything to write home about. The fish is incredible! I almost always get the 42, 2 fried fish and 2 fried chicken. Both are very tasty and always fresh out of the fryer. The tartar sauce is the best tartar sauce I've ever had and the Angie's sauce is pretty good too. It's kind of comparable to Slim's sauce. In addition to the amazing fried chicken and fish they also serve milk tea. The milk tea is very good, I'd recommend coconut milk tea with yogurt boba. The service is always friendly. The food can take awhile to come out sometimes but it's always so hot when I get it I'm guessing it takes a while because it is cooked fresh which is a plus. The drive through is very convenient. One of the only places in this part of town with drive through that isn't a national chain. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant if you like fried...
