We stopped into Bar Louie on a Friday night. Another restaurant (in the same shopping center) that we really like had already done last call. So we entered BL around 10p and found it not busy at all. We sat at the bar for dinner and drinks. Rachel waited on us and let us know that they were on the Late Night Menu. I asked if they would give me one of the mains since it was only just past 10p. She checked with the kitchen and they agreed to make an exception. I ordered the Voodoo Pasta and my husband ordered the Hot Honey Chicken with fries as well as an order of Old Bay Wings. After about 20 mins passed, I mentioned to Rachel that his wings hadn't come out yet. Rachel replied flippantly: "Oh you wanted them before your meal? Well you didn't say that". HUH????? Who orders an appetizer and has it come out with the meal? Why was it our responsibility to tell her to serve the appetizer as it was meant to be served? Was it not her job to confirm if she was confused?? Isn't an appetizer by definition a prelude to the meal? Anyway... Rachel disappeared into the kitchen for another 15 mins before coming out with wings that were DRENCHED in Old Bay seasoning. 15 minutes after the wings, our meals come out. My Voodoo Pasta - which is supposed to come in a "housemade spicy voodoo sauce" had zero sauce....and I mean zero...more like olive oil, garlic and maybe some parmesan. See pic attached to this review. My husband's fries were a child sized portion - not in the mule mug - and lukewarm at best. Not hot. Barely there honey. The best part of our night at Bar Louie was the other bartender, Jonathan. He was very pleasant, accommodating (he went and got my husband some hot fries!) and funny. Bar Louie was a big disappointment in our opinion and I doubt we will be back.

I really was optimistic about this place. The atmosphere was ok. However, our waitress Bre is by far the worst waitress I’ve had in a while. I was really happy to go out tonight because with life sometimes it prevents you from doing the things you enjoy to do. Anyhoot, we walk in the hostess was no where to be found after. A few minutes she appeared and sat us. Our waitress came over to the table pretty fast, I asked for a water with lemons emphasis' on the s…. And a margarita with sugar on the rim And my man asked for a sprite. She comes back with just the sprite. So I waited patiently then she appeared and says the drink will be out shortly. I said do you have the water? She came back with the water with one dried out lemon. She took our order, I asked for chicken wings extra crispy, and loaded fries and my man asked for a steak and fries. I also asked for the sauce on the side because often enough, when you ask for crispy it’s soft. She comes back with my drink, which looks great by the way. However, the drink had salt on the rim. So I asked her is this supposed to be sugar? Because it tastes like salt… she said oh it’s supposed to be sugar. 😮💨 She brings the drink back, the new one looks completely different and has a bunch of ice. The food comes out and sure enough the chicken is soft, and it’s loaded tater tots, instead of fries. So both orders had to go back. It comes back out and the chicken is still kinda soft but at this point I just ate it and the fries were not fresh, they were warm almost as if they were under a light in the back. The chicken had a smell when you bite into it, almost like a big chicken leg… the steak tastes like it’s been sitting in the freezer! Needless to say go some where else! Not worth the time, energy and your stomach.

Service was alright. Had the bartender been a little quicker with drinks, or the bar been busier, it would have been a 4. There were very few people in the entire restaurant. Im guessing the reason for the empty restaurant was that the flattop was broken. This made the menu extremely limited. Our waiter was awesome, and gave good tips and honest opinions. One of the drinks we ordered wasn't even mixed. Drank from the straw, and it was straight bourbon. Sipped from the class and it was all tea. Once I mixed it up myself, the drink was decent. The food was a whole different story. The fried calamari had a rubber like texture and had too much batter on some peices. We got the boneless wings, which were left in the fryer for too long, and some of the pieces were actually burnt. The buffalo sauce, I'm pretty sure was Frank's. The tortillas for the nachos tasted stale, and were alright. All in all, it was alright, but definitely not worth the money that was spent. Should have went to somewhere that we knew was less expensive with better food.

Don’t even bother visiting this place! It’s not what it use to be from the 2-3 times I seen before. Went this past Sunday since it had been a while, the Host immediately let us know that they were on a Limited Menu, so OK. We looked around and there were about 15 People if so. Then we sit down and soon after we were waited on and we ordered 1 Loaded Nachos since the Menu was limited (Chips were stale). One of the Drinks tasted bad so I let the Waitress know as soon as She came back. I didn’t want to order another drink or anything else. My whole mood changed and I just wanted to leave. I started looking around due to a Foul Smell this place has and just looking under a counter in their Bar Area, I noticed a Plate with old food and a silver container. The Floors look really dirty and perhaps that’s the foul smell. I have a attached a pic of the old nasty food plate so you can’t say it’s not true. Left this place and went next door where the Ambiance, food, staff, drinks and place was much better!!!
