Same bad employee causing problems for the 3rd time in past 2 weeks. The first two issues involved failed attempts at making proper change from the register, once she tried to give me no change at all and the other time she had to get her phone out of her pocket to do the math (pro tip if you’re not smart enough to handle simple math, the register will actually do it for you) Tonight’s debacle involved a mush mouth mumbling attempt at operating the drive-thru speaker. It wasn’t that long ago that Zaxby’s held their employees to a higher standard. I suppose that only applies to the people next door these days. It’s no shock Chick-Fil-A’s drive-thru has 2 full lines while Zaxby’s sits empty only 100ft away.
Edit to add 12/28/24: how freaking stupid can the drive thru window operator possibly be? Line full of customers waiting for the food they ordered AT THE SPEAKER and you let the idiot at the window order more food after you’ve already given them their original order and you actually expect everybody else to sit there and wait even longer? Read moreI placed a to go order tonight for "AJ" at 8:34 PM. The app wasn't allowing me to input my order so I went inside. There was a short black female employee behind the counter whose phone was top priority (the name on my receipt is "Kara B"). There was no greeting upon me approaching the counter nor an acknowledgment of any sort. No other customers in the store or at the drive thru. She looked over at a white male employee with glasses and said "can you take her order", he asked why she couldn't do it, she stated "I'm busy" and walked away still heavily within her phone. The young man who took over had great customer service, the young black men that I noticed in the back preparing my order did a fantastic job and had great attitudes as well.
"Kara B" was a one star experience.

We usually visit the branch on 280 which is always consistent and provides good experience. This location by far the worst. They gave sandwiches without any sauce first. When asked they took it back, put some sauce and gave it back. The boneless wings came without celery. When asked, the staff said "oh they didn't put the celery?" That's it. No apologies or no offer to bring some celery. This will be our last visit to this location. If they continue with these staff members they will be closing the location pretty soon.
