My wife and I went to this restaurant on a recommendation of a friend. We were super excited to try it out and have some good Italian food. Boy, was I in for a rude awakening.
When we walked in, we were greeted right away, and led to our seats. The waitress got what we wanted to drink, never mentioned her name, and came back with drinks.
They serve bread here similar to chips and cheese at a Mexican restaurant. The marinara sauce that you can get with it (it's $4.95 extra) I'm pretty sure it's heated up out of a can. They brought this out shortly after serving drinks.
The menu is full of options, but nothing is explained well in my opinion. I asked the waitress what her favorite one was, since I was a first-time guest. She told me that it was the Chicken, Veal, Shrimp Tetrazzini. I wasn't wanting shrimp, so I went ahead and ordered the Sausage Pizzaola. We alwere served hot food within 10-15 minutes.
Breakdown of each menu item:
My wife got the chicken, veal, and shrimp tetrazzini. She said she was surprised if it was actually veal (she said it was tough and didn't eat it all). She let me have the rest of her shrimp and those were actually good.
The meal that I got, the sausage pizzaola was bland. Pretty sure the sausage was eckrich sausage from Walmart. The pasta I'm pretty sure was simple great value pasta. The whole dish was just a 3/10.
Overall, we ended up paying between $60 and $70 (tip included) for extremely watered down Italian food. I wouldn't even call it Italian honestly. It was bland and unseasoned. The bread was the best part of the entire meal.
Whenever you get your check, it's written like an invoice with no total. They don't actually have your total on there, you have to manually calculate it up yourself. Unless you just want to go straight to the cash register and pay then
I'll preface the next thing by saying this. This location is an old Montana Mike's steakhouse. It closed down several years ago. I don't think the new owners did anything to make it feel Italian. It still feels like an old country steakhouse that just so happens to serve watered down Italian food. The closest thing that made it feel Italian was the Italian music they had playing in the background.
Was highly disappointed from this trip, and me and my wife won't be back. If I'm going to get authentic Italian food, I'll go somewhere else.
Don't waste...

We were a little taken back that my husband and son was charged every cup of coffee and glass of iced tea the drank. Even when the menu says free refills.
My husband was also a little put off over the pasta sampler. It was just all shoved into a small little baking dish and smothered in cheese to where you could not even see what was in it or what you were about to eat. He did enjoyed what little he got after he removed the pound of mozzarella covering the top. All he got in the sampler was, 1 piece of ravioli, 1 little piece of manicotti and a small chunk of lasagna under some marinara, and like i said, a pound of cheese.
He said that he does not want to return. He said that if he had seen what he was going to order he would have opted out of it.
I have to agree, the description of the dishes is okay to a point. However, photos would be a wonderful addition.
I ordered the Linguini Tuttonmare, and my mental picture of what I read was nothing like what I received.
Is it supposed to be like a soup?
The seafood tasted fine, however the broth, had no flavor and made the noodles to where I could not eat them as the texture was unpleasant. I never finished my meal at all. Sad because the seafood portion was lovely. I understand this is an authentic Italian restaurant, and maybe that is the issue with my dish and my pallet.
As far as the service goes, it was okay. Not the best really. Our server was very nice, however, he seemed overwhelmed.
I do really enjoy the food that I have had before. This was the 1st time I had came in and had dinner. The bread and the dipping oil was amazing as always. Our son really enjoyed his meal! We ordered dessert and YUMMY!!! I am getting the Tiramisu next time! I tasted my husband's and I was jealous! Our son and I each had a Cannoli.
We did enjoy our meal, even with...
Read moreSince google complains about my harsh criticism, here is a stab at them as well. Luigi’s Italian restaurant. Definitions to consider. Absolutely. Disgusting. Had a party of three. Three different orders. Not one was eatable. Not authentic. Not even close. Took one bite of lasagna and couldn’t even eat it. Spaghetti not even flavored. Had better food from a MRE. The chicken Alfredo was off. The fresh bread was all I ate. The tea even tasted old. First time going and last time going. 80 dollars with 10 dollar tip just for bread. Avoid. On a good note the waiter did an excellent job.
How’s that for a honest opinion GOOGLE! Google wants real people to give real reviews but complains when I tell the truth. Either do a good job or I leave a bad review. Period. If you cannot take criticism then don’t own a business or learn how to fix the issues. Google if you don’t want to hurt a business then why ask for the reviews? I can care less either way but I will not stand by and let good people find out the hard way and waste good hard earned...
