I am a long time customer of this restaurant and appreciate the service and atmosphere every time I order or dine in (pre-COVID). I’ve even brought in new customers and turned them on to this restaurant, that’s how much I like them. But I literally just called to see if they were open for dine in yet and the response I received was unnecessarily rude and distasteful! I was beyond shocked bc I’ve gotten to know the owners and it’s the same one who answers the phone every time. I simply asked if they were open for dine in yet and instead of a simple no, I got a harsh response of “Absolutely not! I will not jeopardize the health and safety of myself and my employees!” I replied with a shocked, oh ok, I was just checking (because this restaurant is not close to me). And he just hung up on me before I could barely end my sentence!
I was so shocked and disturbed by it, I had to take a moment before I decided what to do next. Since I like the place so much, I thought I’d give them a second chance before I wrote a review (obviously it didn’t go well bc here I am!) I called back saying hey, I just called with a simple question and the response I received was rude and unnecessary. I understand your feelings about safety, but instead you could have simply replied “no, just take out and delivery. I order from here a lot and I’m just shocked by the response, it didn’t have to be so rude”. Note: I was interrupted after the first sentence, with the same attitude, but I stood my ground and continued to tell him the better way to have answered my question. And the reply I got at the end was “ok, I’ll tell the supervisor about the rudeness”. And just as I was about to reply, again, he hung up on me. Remember: HE is the owner. WHO is he telling, his wife, the co owner?! LIES! And even if it was another employee, why would they tell on themselves, that’s just dumb. I am DEFINITELY taking a break from this place and not bringing anymore friends and...
Read moreUgh. Ugh ugh! I came in 10 of 3. I was met by a friendly guy, he asked if I wanted to order an appetizer, So without looking at the menu, I ordered the thai chicken wings. They came out and I was shocked. They were rock hard, way over cooked and I just knew it was going to go downhill quickly. I had, unfortunately, ordered the beef pad thai before the wings came out. I will tell you, in the 45 years of eating pad thai, this was the absolute worst I've ever had. It tasted like sweet beef bullion sauce on overcooked mushy noodles. The beef tasted boiled. I immediately called the waiter over, apologized and said I couldn't eat it.it ruined my entire appetite. I kindly asked for it to be removed off of my bill and I was going to excuse myself, But he actually told me.I had to order another dish. 😄 🤣 😂 How do you just charge me for the chicken wings and let me on my way. I probably wouldn't have even write this review because I feel guilty, he suggested a rice dish and I decided on coconut shrimp. How can you possibly screw that up. 🤢 oh let me tell you, they could and they did. I don't. Know if maybe the Greece is just too hot and that is why the $14. For 5 small wingettes or the 13$ 4 piece coconut shrimp were burnt and had a horrible taste. Five winnets and four shrimp cost me thirty two dollars. If I was alone on a stranded island and haven't eaten in forty days, And this was the only place around, You'd been reading about me starving to death!
Edit: 350 pm and im already...
Read moreMy husband and I were having our regular Friday night debate on what to order for dinner. I was craving sushi and suggested we just pick up some cheap rolls from big y (who doesn’t love the yummy roll?) and I wish we did. This place was awful! Everything we ordered was bad. There’s no other way to describe give it. The sushi was made with poor quality ingredients, the crab Rangoon and veggie curry puff’s practically had nothing in them and my husband ordered pork fried rice but received chicken instead. Regardless of these details, all of the food was basically inedible. You can taste the cheap cream cheese that they use in the Philadelphia roll so I don’t even want to imagine where they get their salmon and seafood from. The worst part of this experience is the fact that it was outrageously expensive. Run, don’t walk away from this place. It’s not worth any of your money. One star is being generous, Google needs to come up with a no star option. Looking at the other w reviews, seems like everyone spends $80 here regardless of...
