Went to fazoli's 3 months ago with family we ordered the classic sampler which is amazing we had some great convos it was great vibes and then the waiter came over short dude about 5’6 smelled nice and all good personality.
As he was serving my meat sauce pasta. He placed it down in front of me and with nervousness said he’d be right back he went over to his manager and his manager seem to be talking about me by the way they were looking over he’s even scratching his head his manager nods to him and the waiter comes back with the cheese grater. I started sweating nervously. He asks my family members one by one “cheese?” Yes each of my family members agrees with joy….
then it’s my turn I feel the sweat under my pits grow he looks at me and says the classic “just say when” I agree 5 minutes go by he is still grating the cheese as it drops on my pasta 10 minutes go by I still have not said “when” 20 minutes go by then 30 minutes by this point my pasta has a mountain hill of cheese piled on top of it covering my plate. my family has been staring at me forever first they were smiling but then their smiles begin to drop into annoyed frowns. as if they’ve seen this before because they HAVE those frown begin to turn into horror as the waiter begins loading up another block of cheese all without stopping it’s been 1 hour. I just continue to allow the waiter to grade the cheese still withholding the magic word to break him from the shackles of his purgatory. A tear slips down the waiters face as he is still profusely smiling nervously I’ve taken a mental oath at this point he cannot have the upper hand,
2 hours go by and the grated cheese is falling over the edge of the table onto my lap now on the floor and now on my body covering me and from the floor down I am by this point covered within a mountain of grated cheese and so is the waiter all while still grading the cheese and from the mountain of grated cheese his voice comes through like an avalanche “just say when?!? Haha” I REFUSE!!! 3 hours go by then 5 hours and his manager comes by to advise him his shift is over. my family being upset have left while being extremely angry with me again just like the last time. The waiter refuses to leave by obligation of the cheese graded unspoken rule which he must never break with me saying “when” but from my mountain of cheese I’m cocooned in now I advise the manager I never said “when!!”I hear the horror in the managers voice but I cannot see him under all the graded cheese it’s been 3 months so far my waiter has still been working diligently I’ve heard his ringer go off probably from his family member and people who probably care about him calling about I’m assuming his whereabouts but he’s here grating cheese grate cheese and I am still here with him as...
Read moreThis location practices forced tipping! Tipping culture has gone WAY out of control in this country. Everytime you go into a place to get something to eat, after having a 20 to 30 sec interaction with an individual, an annoying pop up comes on the screen asking for money. Money for what!?? Here, the screen did not let you opt out of the tip, but rather used a confusing number-letter system and once told by the cashier to just press #2 alas, just left a $5 tip. Your reciept starts printing and the transaction is finished. You should pay ME $5 to have to look at your ugly face. They also advertise $6 baked spagehtti on a billboard, but then when ordering it's $8.95 or $10.95 w/ meatballs. The $6 one is Pizza Baked Spaghetti but you have to order it like that. I tip well and deservedly. You think the employees get that money? No my friends, it's another way for the corporations to pick your pocket. I don't like tricks, and I don't like being made to look cheap in public by asking to cancel the order. I contacted my bank and requested a dispute under the fairness act. I got no food and left indignant....
Read moreBest Fazolis I have ever been to. After an almost 2 hour wait to get into olive Garden and very rude people there, we decided to go here for my nieces birthday. We showed up about an hour before they closed and apologized and explained the situation. Samantha, the manager, Marie the cashier, Iesha, not sure if spelling that right, and another young lady i didn't catch her name, took care of us better than olive garden could have ever even thought of taking care of us. These Ladies went above and beyond and 5 extra miles to make sure we were happy and taken care of, with amazing food I might add as well. Even came out with a double brownie with a cream cheese heart and light up happy birthday on it while they sang to her. Even took the extra mile to make sure the two other children had cookies, for free, to make sure they weren't left out while the birthday girl had her dessert. I will recommend this place to everyone I talk to and will forever tell this story for anyone thats asking about this establishment. Thank you...
