We drive to Uno which has one entrance and exit. We missed it and makes this location likely horrible if you're not a local like myself. We walk in and the host is on the phone hearing she will receive a party of 17. She is flustered at this idea and we tell her we're a party of two and she is still flustered at us...I look around and see a minimally seated area and I'm puzzled as to how i'm inconveniencing her when this is a Saturday night. Any pizza place should be packed especially located near a mall during this hour. We get seated and the waitress is actually super nice, friendly, and attentive, but I can tell she is stretched thin as she is making drinks at the bar and also seeing tables. (under staffed maybe?) With this in mind our food was arriving with some delay. The food...Well The wings were standard wings nothing to write home about. The pizza was quite dry and the crust was mediocre, so much that we didn't want too take it home and ate half of it. We did order the dessert which took awhile to arrive as well, but you cant mess up brownie and ice cream. I will say the sticky tables didn't make for an appealing presentation. Overall this is a chain restaurant similar to an Applebee's, chilis, etc. and they all seem to have similar issues like this. Only saving grace to our visit was the waitress and I hope they value...
Read moreThe waiter and manager were really nice.... We showed up at 630, seated right away and ordered right away. Thirty minutes later we had to ask for the kids "make your own pizza". We finally got it at the 45 min mark. After being there a full hour, we finally got our meals. Mine had to be remade as I ordered a gluten-free pizza, but it came out with breaded chicken. That was another 15 minutes. My husband ordered a 20oz beer and received a 12 oz. He asked for the proper size, but 20 minutes later the waiter still hadn't brought it over. We gave up and he drank it. After it was nearly gone we finally were asked if he actually wanted the 20oz. The pizzas were all amazing. The gluten-free pizza was fantastic. The ribs were tiny (maybe 3?) And a small pressed piece of chicken that was lukewarm. Ordered a dessert for the kids that took nearly another 10 minutes and a tiny sliver of a gluten-free cake for $8.
We were there for TWO HOURS with 2 young children. We had planned to be home around the time we left. While the manager and waiter were nice, there was no real apology, and no offer of anything (discount, dessert, drink etc) for all the mistakes and exceptionally long wait. I probably would have understood more of the restaurant was packed, but there were still several empty tables. Maybe not...
Read moreI would consider us a very lax, low maintenance family; not much bothers us restaurant wise. However, the gnats, as well as the sugar ants that were present at our table near a window was awful and made the dining experience less than pleasant. Aside from the pests, service was beyond slow. We understand from working in the customer service field that some employees are required to do alot, understandable. However, our server did not even come to the floor to greet us until 15min after we were seated. The amount of time from placing a drink order to placing our actual order was atleast 15 min each. Food can out piece meal, and strangely enough, the child's coming last. We ordered a personal kids pizza and 20 boneless wings with garlic bread. Food was decent when finally received. The waiting became so much that after the check was asked for, I left so my husband waited to pay. Another 15 min to receive the check. Needless to say or experience was below unsatisfactory. Uno's you need to step up your game, or you will lose more than a...
