Diedrich Espresso Clearview — Restaurant in Washington

Would be nice if prices were listed somewhere. Service and beverages are not consistent, and are much pricier than the previous owners/stand. I waited 20 min for two breakfast sandwiches and two drinks the other day, and was given the incorrect food, which was actually more expensive than what I had ordered (and was charged the more expensive item) I didn't say the wrong food, because what we got was something I would never order and don't even like. Drink was wrong as well. Barista was kind and accommodating, but issue would not have happened if the baristas were not in such deep conversation while I was ordering and waiting. Coffee is good based on who makes it. It's close to my house which is most of the reason I occasionally go there, but there are also 3-4 other great stands close by, so I usually save Diedrichs for Fridays for 4-stamp-Friday (which I often have to remind them it's 4 stamps not 1). All in all, continuously leaving unimpressed after my visits. On a positive note, their bagel breakfast sandwiches and monster cookies are phenomenal. WAY overpriced, but taste amazing. If they could cut the price in half I would get it way more often, but $7-$8...

We got a orange cream drink, and some donut holes that came out to over $20 because apparently the owners made it a policy “for summer” to not give waters to children in the drive through, so they made us pay over two dollars per bottle for two small bottles of Kirkland brand water bottles each. I would have been happy to pay 50 cents for the cup or whatever it took, but they refused that as an option. Aaaand we were already customers. That means that the one drink my family got for all of us came out to over $10. I enjoy this place. I've been coming here for three years, and the baristas are all really pleasant and have their clothes on 😂 (there were two bikini stands on this highway till recently). I like trying the monthly concoctions, and they're really nice about customizing drinks.

My only issues have been with the food and the Joe app. The breakfast burrito wrapping was really worn and faded, and the burrito itself was super dry. I got the donut holes another day and they were kinda melted and squished from sitting on the ledge.
