Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Washington

A recent visit during a Monday lunch rush was far too long. Four out of six staff members took their break during the noon rush — they were seated eating and chatting when I arrived and slowly making their way back to work as I departed 30 minutes later. En route from Solomon's Island I stopped in and purchased an Everything Bagel with Butter and Jalapeno Salsa Cream Cheese (untoasted). I also grabbed a bottle of H2O. I was famished...that said I couldn't wait to demolish my order which was served quickly and with a smile. I was extremely disappointed after the first bite. I travel quite a bit for work. I'm used to eating pretty awful assembly line stuff when I'm at airports, etc. But I always have a pretty good sandwich at Einstein Bros. I was actually amazed today when I got a nova lox bagel sandwich at the union station Einstein. It was literally the best bagel sandwich I've ever had.
