Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Washington

On or about November 25, 2023, I visited Popeyes (Store #12591) on or about 3:54PM. I presented Jaquelin, who identified herself as the manager, with a completed Popeyes Rewards Survey (PRS). After placing my order, I handed the PRS to her. After inspecting it she said that “you cannot use it here because the receipt did not come from this store.” I shared the following:

1. when I called and received the code, I was not informed of such;
2. the coupon does not say such; and
3. there is no signage in this store or the store where I received the coupon that shares such.

I asked when Popeyes placed me on notice of what she is sharing?

Jaquelin then turns around and walks away without saying anything. When she returns, she is holding a phone and appears to be talking to someone. When she gets off the phone, she tells me again that I “must use a receipt from this store and return it to this store.” I asked for her name and shared that I did not believe such is true.

Jaquelin says repeatedly “are you recording me?” I did not respond because I had no idea why she thought so. She continues to ask as she writes her name. Before she hands me the paper with her name on it, she tells me “you cannot record here.”

I share that I am not doing anything illegal, immoral, or fattening – now that you refuse to redeem my survey. I shared that I did not believe it favorable for her to recite the law incorrectly or as an intimidation tactic.

I shared if such is a store policy – it should be posted then it would not appear that no discrimination was taken place based on my age; race; gender; sex;...

(07/05/22) I don't know if I should feel bad for the workers here or not, but this location is basically a run down "ghetto" McDonald's with hardly any workers during peak lunch times. You just see 1 person on the cash register and 1 cook in the back majority of the time. I've been to this location 2 times during lunch and the customer service is not even average rate. Saw the manager one time and they just looked around to check what they had in stock, when clearly there was a very long line of customers waiting to order. 1 person was at the register and the manager didn't pay any mind to the long line. 3 customers left the line to go somewhere else. Yes, it took that long and it is THAT bad.

Case in point: if you're in a rush to get some Popeyes, then don't come here. If you just want the food and don't mind the possibility of a 20 minute wait for a simple meal order, then you will be okay... If you can withstand the trifling community of customers that come here.

Food is good as usual, it's just that the customer service is horrible at best. I believe it's the management side that's very very poor and either it's lack of workers or they're...

First the customer service is hella iffy....I say that because it depends on who’s on shift.....now to the quality of the food if you can call it that......the day they opened of course everything was great then down it went didn’t take too long......so today February 1, 2018 I went in for lunch and ordered a 3 pc dinner combo and the $5 boneless wings combo as well......so for the 3 pc I received day old chicken mind you it was around 1145-1200 when I ordered the food one would think it was fresh guess I was wrong.....anyways back to the day old food.....the chicken tasted as if it was put into the microwave then fried again......the biscuit was tough and tasted as if a hobo was used as the butter the taste was rank....now to the small ass “chicken wing” combo/ nuggets......don’t advertise something as big a boneless wing and give me small ass Chick-fil-A nuggets...🤔🤔🤔🤨🤨🤨😑😑😑.....I think one has to give at least a star.....but you gets bones Popeyes lost...
