Kama - West Loop — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Oh man, where can I start! We recently stopped by Kama to get a taste of their Indian Fusion dishes, and I can happily say it did not disappoint one bit. All the dishes that we had had a perfect balance of creativity, good flavors, and great presentation. One of our favorite dishes that we had was the mussels in tamarind coconut broth. It genuinely is to die for. The short rib dish with phyllo-wrapped biryani was another hit. The crab coconut risotto was a great addition, full of spice, sweetness, and new flavor that we really enjoyed. Our server, Warda, made our experience at Kama enjoyable. We tried Kama on a whim and were blown away. We love Indian food (in fact, we had it for our wedding!) and found this spot to be incredibly unique and fresh. The cocktails were fantastic, from the smoked Manhattan to the sour and pisco drinks, all with Indian flavors infused. I moved to Chicago 5 years ago and found Kama Bistro Lagrange. I was hooked. The food, the service, and the staff. The experience was amazing. And now we have them in West Loop. FINALLY!!
